One Word By Nina Keegan

One word...just one word from God has the power to change everything ...He is our final authority He is above all else....the reply of the tongue will always come from The Lord

He speaks.. The universe is born.. He speaks ... Miracles happen.. He just says the WORD and all of Heaven moves..

Believe in the WORD!

Let Jesus marvel at the magnitude of our audacious faith.. let's step out of our comfort zone and do it afraid... Do it all fearlessly..let's plant the stakes of victory firmly and deliberately!

Let the Word God be the guidepost, the pillar, and the fortress where we can safely tread, where we are hidden from danger, where we are blessed beyond measure, where our faith is stretched beyond imagination to receive that which Jesus died for us to have.

Lay claim to The assurance of victory..  I pray that we would not whimper and shrink back into the fear of the unknown but we would tread fearlessly on the water and into the depths and the realms of astounding favor which no eye has seen on this earth. I pray that we would grab a hold of the hem of the precious garment of Jesus Christ and never let go...let Him blindly and boldly lead us into that place in which our divine purpose in Him is fulfilled..

Let us rise up! rise up! and ready our feet for the battle.. call forth the victory we have available through the Word of God..Be still and let God be God!  Anoint us in the fullness of a fresh breath of the Holy Spirit.. Soak us in a new anointing of divine favor, grant us the purest discernment and astounding victory as we become the army of Christ on this earth!  We will have no fear! For we walk with God! Yes Let us tread upon the deepest of waters knowing that God's hands will not let us be overcome..we praise you Father we thank you and we say "amen" to you Lord.. in Jesus name

Hebrews 4:12 - For the word of God [is] quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and [is] a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.

Jeremiah 23:29 - [Is] not my word like as a fire? saith the LORD; and like a hammer [that] breaketh the rock in pieces?

2 Timothy 3:16-17 - All scripture [is] given by inspiration of God, and [is] profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness.

Highway of Holiness By Nina Keegan

In Isaiah 35: 8-10 the scripture talks about a great road that will go through a once deserted land and it will be named the "Highway of Holiness"

Doesn't that sound like a highway that we all want to travel?
It goes on to say that evil minded people will never get to travel on it ...it will only be used for those who walk in God's ways and fools will never walk there.

This verse gives me a check in my spirit and I want God to show me if there's any foolishness in my life,  if there's anything that He needs to remove in me so that I might walk on this great highway following Him and His divine plan steeped in abundant favor and His divine annointing for my life.

It is always good to check ourselves and to ask God to reveal to us anything that might be grieving the Holy Spirit.

Then we can ask for His forgiveness, we can repent and try to live according to God's will.

God knows we are not perfect. He made us...but  He also knows the desires of our hearts.
We want our hearts always to be pure and right and good in Him. Let us aim our hearts in the right direction.. Let us keep our eyes steadfast and always looking forward straight ahead on to Him..He is the light ..He is our road to salvation.

Lord we ask that you would program our steps on your highway of holiness that we would be surrounded by a mighty Hedge of protection, covered in the blood of Jesus and surrounded continuously by your ministering angels. Let your heavenly warriors highlight the way and keep us focused on You and this mighty road that leads to the abundance of all mercy, grace, forgiveness, love and pure, sweet joy.

This highway is only found by following God..  He is making a way for His people to walk in His ways ...It says in Eph 5:1 We are to be "imitators of God"...  We are to try to live so closely to God that we become like Him.. That others will see Him is us.
we are redeemed through the blood of Jesus and only the redeemed will get to travel this highway!

Thank you that on this road we will be protected from wicked travelers and all evil, You are preparing the way Lord for us to travel home. Walk with us Father.. For You don't just point the way but You are beside us as we take every faith filled step

We praise your name
You are deserving of all glory in Jesus name

Isaiah 35:8-10
8 And a main road will go through that once deserted land. It will be named the Highway of Holiness. Evil-hearted people will never travel on it. It will be only for those who walk in God's ways; fools will never walk there. 9 Lions will not lurk along its course, and there will be no other dangers. Only the redeemed will follow it. 10 Those who have been ransomed by the LORD will return to Jerusalem, singing songs of everlasting joy. Sorrow and mourning will disappear, and they will be overcome with joy and gladness.

Eph 4:29-31 ‘Let no unwholesome word proceed out of your mouth, but only such a word that is good for edification according to the need at the moment, so that it will give grace to those who hear. Do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, by whom you were sealed for the day of redemption. Let all bitterness and wrath and anger and clamor and slander be put away from you, along with all malice.

1 Thess 5:16-21 ‘Rejoice always; pray without ceasing; in everything give thanks; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus. Do not quench the Spirit; do not despise prophetic utterances. But examine everything carefully, holding fast to that which is good.’

Ephesians 4:31-32
Let all bitterness and wrath and anger and clamor and slander be put away from you, along with all malice. Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, as God in Christ forgave you.

A Faith Jesus Marvels At by Nina Keegan

There are only two things in all of Scripture that Jesus marveled at... And they both are concerning levels of faith

Matthew 8:9-10
For I am a man under authority, having soldiers under me: and I say to this man, Go , and he goeth ; and to another, Come , and he cometh ; and to my servant, Do this, and he doeth it. 10 When Jesus heard it, he MARVELED , and said to them that followed , Verily I say unto you, I have not found so great faith, no, not in Israel.

Jesus said to them, "A prophet is not without honor except in his own town, among his relatives and in his own home."
He could not do any miracles there, except lay his hands on a few sick people and heal them
And he MARVELED because of their unbelief. And he went about among the villages teaching.

A faith that makes Jesus marvel is something worth looking into..

The Centurion or Roman soldier had faith in the spoken word of Jesus,  he did not believe Jesus had to go be physically present to heal his servant he just heard that Jesus was near by and he rode off to meet Him, and when he met Jesus, he simply asked him to heal his  very ill servant. Jesus offered to come to his house but the Centurion did not believe Jesus had to be physically present to heal his servant..he asked Jesus to just say the Word and His servant would be healed...the soldier believed Jesus's Word was all that was needed to manifest the miraculous.

The 2nd scripture above states how the lack of faith in some disallowed even Jesus to perform miracles..

Lack of faith halts God from moving..

These opposing degrees of Faith show us what we need to bring the manifestation and demonstration of the miraculous into our lives.

If you simply can believe in the written word of God you are in a place in your faith to receive miracles as Jesus marvels at that kind of faith and that kind of unwavering steadfast assuredness that Jesus is who He says He is.

The Centurion would require no additional proof.. Jesus simply spoke that his servant would be healed and he believed that when he returned home a miracle would've already taken place.. And it did! The servant was healed!

Jesus marveled "for verily I say to you that I have not seen this kind of faith in all of Israel"

Many of us find it hard to believe in things that we cannot physically see or touch but if we could see all things there would be no need for faith..the bigger blessing abounds to us by having a kingdom size faith and a steadfast knowing that God's Word can be trusted,  His Word does not fail or return void ..

We many times think if we don't see immediate results that God has not been moved to answer our prayers..

God's ways are not our ways,  He is omniscient (all knowing) and He sees the whole storyline.. many times our yearnings, trials, and times of peril, ultimately work amazingly for the good by causing us to be stretched in our faith and to draw closer to God.

The Bible says it all must be used for our good.. we decidedly do not want anything that God does not want us to have in our lives..

God always answers our prayers, sometimes just not the way we think He should, but His timing is always perfect ..He's never late... Simply put, God is God and we are not..

When you're waiting on God, stand...believe.. Let Jesus be marveled at your faith ..Jesus's spoken words and God's written words are the same; we need to have faith and believe through a trusted loving relationship with God
that His faithfulness and character are enduring and steadfast forever. He loves us and there's nothing He will not do for us..

Lord we are in your hands we are in your will Lord you know the future, we don't... show us Lord ..show us..let us have faith that you can marvel at..

Thank you Lord..increase us in our faith today! In Jesus name  we pray!

Then Suddenly by Nina Keegan

Then Suddenly..

God is saying that when the enemy was chasing the Israelites out of Egypt...the Red Sea was in front of them ..but the miracle was in the sea, the miracle was in the impossible!

This is a time to advance, God will empower you with a staff to part the Red Sea in your life; whatever your enemy is, whatever your struggle is, family, financial, health, oppression, depression anything...what ever giant is in front of you, you will conquer! You have been authorized to break your chains with the authority available to you in Jesus Christ..

He's giving you a staff to remind you of your strength in Him. He's supplying you with enabling grace to part your Red Sea and watch it turn into a dry desert bed that you can walk across safely and with ease.
The Lord says He wants you to begin to raise your expectations..He is getting ready to do marvelous things on your behalf!
When the people of Israel fled Egypt running for their lives followed by all of Pharaoh's army.. they wound up at the beach of the Red Sea... Imagine that feeling of great fear and utter pandemonium, the feeling of defeat and complete devastation..

But God... Yes... God! He then SUDDENLY pulls off the most impossible to imagine, mind blowing, miracle!

It never entered the minds of the Israelites that right then and there God would perform a spectacular event, A SUDDEN MIRACLE!  He would open an entire Sea,  He would part an entire ocean for them and let them cross safely on dry ground, a surreal path etched through the impossible .. barricaded with enormous walls of water hedging each side.

God would then swallow up all of their enemies; the horse and rider and chariots alike with giant sweeping waves as the sea was commanded to flow back into its trough ...

Can you imagine witnessing this astonishing supernatural phenomenon?

This is how our loving God moves and operates on our behalf.. There is nothing that He is not prepared to do for us.. There is no rescue mission to hard or to risky for God.. You are worth it to Him.. You matter and He will never abandon you to be devoured by your Red Sea.
"Get ready for the unexpected miracle"says the Lord .."the unexpected blessings you have not even fathomed."

The Lord says "I have already destroyed your enemy through the blood my Son has shed on the Cross... I want you to release the sound of victory, the sound of triumph, the sound of praise, the horse and rider have already been trampled into the sea and washed away in the crashing waves."

God is making ways for you.. He's clearing the path..divine victory is at hand.. Hallelujah!

Rejoice! the enemy has been destroyed under your feet! The miracle is in the trial you face because God is all powerful to go before you and use what the enemy has meant for harm to bring to you complete restoration, victory, and a testimony of unparalleled  proportion.

Do NOT look back..  Through your unseen faith and determined declaration that God is who He says He is...you have crossed your Red Sea and have been planted safely and freely on the other side..

Keep your eyes straight ahead on your miracle maker Jesus Christ who is deserving of all praise and glory...

Is there anything to hard for Him? Ask yourself..How BIG is possible?
Genesis 50:20
You intended to harm me, but God intended it for good to accomplish what is now being done, the saving of many lives.

Matthew 19:26
Jesus looked at them and said, "With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible."

Keep Your Eyes On Jesus by Nina Keegan

I find myself increasingly shocked everyday when I watch the news or see the covers of the celebrity magazines in the grocery store..  What is going on in this world today..? Where do we draw the line between the Godly and the Godless? The line it would appear seems to be getting quite blurry.. In fact the anything goes mentality is flooding our morals and we become desensitized to  real truth..

 Job 36:17
But you are obsessed with whether the godless will be judged.
Don’t worry, judgment and justice will be upheld.

Many of the us these days are questioning why it appears that the wicked of this world are seemingly prevailing in their evil schemes and living a prosperous life style.

Why does it appear that people who are not even remotely living for God seem to "have it all"?
The answer is very simple .. They don't!

They are living for the here and now, contagiously void of all the blessings of Heaven that can only be acquired through a relationship with Christ.
The time we spend on earth is a mere counterfeit speck in comparison to the time spent in Eternity with our loving Creator and Heavenly Father limitlessly enjoying thought defying fathomability to the magnitude of peace, joy and brilliance our Father has in store for us.
We are not to be deceived, God himself reserves the right to be jealous and the carry out vengeance upon the wicked we must never be obsessed with the apparent unfairness the eye can see.

We must look to our own lives stay in repentance asking for forgiveness and continuously try to be a demonstrative example of God's love here on earth.

We must display to the very best of our limited human capabilities, a life that follows the pathway of Jesus.  We should incessantly be exemplifying God's pure light to others.

God is tolerant in His love and intolerant of our sins. He will not allow sin to go unchecked forever.

Many people wonder why God doesn't immediately punish evil as it happens ..

We must remember this; that if He did punish evil immediately, none of us would be here... We would rid the world of it's habitants.

We all need to be thankful that God gives us renewed chances and time to repent and turn back to Him.
He gives us mercy and an allotted grace period to look inside ourselves in revelation and see our evil ways and steadfastly turn away from them.

He implores us to hand our lives over to Him, the One who can restore, forgive, and redeem us. No person on earth can safely defy God .. He is after all the creator of all the universe.. There is nothing that unnoticeably slips past Him.

People who refuse to believe this concept, to them, God's punishment will be like an angry vengeful fire! To those who love Him and fear Him, His mercy will be a safe haven and a privileged refuge.

The Bible says that God's enemies will be swept away like a flood ....the relationship we have with God, either way, is decidedly left to our own accord...

God sets before us a fork in the path,  every time we stray even the slightest bit towards  the calls of sin and a life drifting away from God, we will pay an enormous price. Sin has a cost! We may not immediately see the consequences of our actions and simultaneously we may think we've gotten away with something and with that in mind ,we simply drift a little more and a little more. Even still, not having witnessed the looming ramifications in our lives, we feel as though we have pulled one over on God..

But.... There it is... The but...before we know it, we are so far away.. So lost... we are creviced deeply into the wrong path. This path of wrongs  winds haphazardly through our life stealing all it can from our basket of contentment and joy. Getting off this wretched detour, mirrors the impossible.

After a brief time in our life of sin we slowly become blind and deaf to the things of God ...We no longer can see Him or hear Him because we've drifted so far off course. We cannot see the path that He has prepared for us any longer.. It's blurry,  we are drowning in the muddy, murky, bumpy, pothole filled road of despair and destruction that leads to nowhere but heartache, pain,  more sin and  irrevocable crimes against Christ.
He sees it ...yes, do not get this wrong...God sees it all!
You are NOT getting away with anything.. we can never hide anything from God!  He knows what you're going to do before you do it, but He's always standing right there; Steadfastly and sturdily waiting on the main road with open arms ready to receive us, ready to welcome us back,  ready to help us in our painstaking turnaround...

He does not abandon us to our own wickedness, He helps us climb out of this vast pit that we've created for ourselves through sin, guilt and condemnation .

His outstretched arm is reaching deep .. It's never too short to grab us from the depths.

We can call on His name.. JESUS.. He will not let us go. He redeems! He is our vindicator.

Our sin however comes with price tag..there will be consequences; make no doubt about it.  For our time immersed in disobedience there will be ramifications. God alone has the right to be jealous and carry out His vengeance on our wrong doing. We don't want to be acting in a spirit of selfishness... it's appropriate for God to insist on us having complete allegiance to Him always. It is just for God to punish unrepentant evildoers, and to bring retribution for our selfish choices.

God's ultimate purpose for us is to set us free from our bondage so as we can live completely for Him and restore back to us the peace and joy that His Son died for us to have.
God will display His mighty power in the whirlwind and in the storm. we must make a choice today to call on the name of Jesus and live under God's grace, His guidance and within His guidelines and covenant for our lives.

Justice will be served in the world. God will settle all accounts! Stay on His path only and do not be tempted to stray ..

The Lord is a strong refuge when trouble comes. He is close to those who trust in him. He will sweep away his enemies in an overwhelming flood, He will pursue His foes into the darkness of night why would you ever scheme against the Lord ? He will destroy you with one blow He won't need to strike twice

Be A Contender For Christ by Nina Keegan

Be a Warrior of the Word!

Jude 1:3
Beloved, although I was very eager to write to you about our common salvation, I found it necessary to write appealing to you to Contend for the faith that was once for all delivered to the saints.

Are you a contender or a contestant in this life? God fights for us every second of every day..  The question remains, Do you fight for Him?

As Christians we're called to be contenders. We are to contend and fight for the things of God and embrace the power that comes from Him and Him alone.

It all revolves around God and our relationship with Him that is only available to us through salvation, this comes through the death and resurrection of God's  beloved son Jesus.

It all comes down to that,  what Jesus did for us and because of that, He has given us the ability and the grace and the empowerment to do what we need to do for the Lord here on Earth!

We need to contend with our discomfort, our persecution and our hurting hearts, and be sold out, humble, and faithful servants for The Lord regardless of what the repercussions  and the backlash will be.

We can be in the world but not of the world ..we're not just put in this world to make everyone else happy,  we're to contend for the things of Heaven and bring to Earth that which Jesus died for us to have. We as the body of Christ can stand together and contend for these things .. Freedom, justice, the unalienable rights our forefathers so diligently contended for and declare Revival!

We have the unmerited ability to command these very things, and the blessings of all of Heaven to be present here on earth.

Thy will be done on earth as it is in Heaven... The Bible says that greater works will we do than even Jesus himself because He was just one in Human flesh walking and talking to individuals in one generalized area at a time. We now through His death and resurrection have the Holy Spirit living in us; we do not have to go around looking for Jesus,  Jesus is in Heaven contending with us and for us. He is interceding for us with His Father in Heaven. Additionally, as Christians, we simultaneously because of the of the Holy Spirit living inside of us have all His power that comes wrapped in that divine gift to be everywhere at once..

Yes, through Christ living in us, He can now be everywhere at once doing those greater works and using us to believe these truths and contend for them.
Great are the things can we do because we as Christians now all have the supernatural qualifications and abilities through Christ to accomplish the works of God! To Him be all glory.

We have a great commission to usher Jesus back!  We are the ambassadors of Christ, His Earthly army placed on this worldly battleground muddled with hatred and intolerance. Call out the victory! Pray!  Ask and never stop asking.
The toughest battles can be fought and won on our knees in prayer..

The Bible says that the violent take it by force.. We must stand!  We must stand for His will or we fall for everything else...

The meaningful will ultimately become meaningless as the world becomes brazenly desensitized to the plight of a nation choosing to abandon God..

I for one, do not want to be a mere contestant in life but I want to be a contender I want to be the eyes, the ears, the mouthpiece of God, His hands, and feet that are doing His will here on earth.

It is not about us ...but it's about what Jesus did for us!
We must make a concise, deliberate, effort to live for Him and fight for Him in this life here and now!

Be a warrior of His Word!
We live on Earth today.. This present time is but a mere spec compared to eternity ...we must live for eternity and make all of our decisions with that in mind.

FIGHT, CONTEND...come out swinging for what the Bible says we can and will have and be in Him now!

Take hold of the promises of God and don't let go!

Believe for them do not believe the world and what it has to offer; look to the One who created the world and see what He is offering you!

He is offering you the guarantee of everlasting life in the kingdom of Heaven!

Yes be a contender, fight for that.. the ultimate gift! Don't just stand around being a contestant winning the door prizes of life.. Win the grand prize which is salvation and ultimately life spent in the presence of God our Heavenly Father and all His Glory!  It's well worth the fight... Yes..well worth the fight.. STAND!

“If you walk in My statutes and keep My commandments, and perform them … you shall eat your bread to the full, and dwell in your land safely. I will give you peace in the land, and you shall lie down, and none will make you afraid; I will rid the land of evil beasts, and the sword will not go through your land. You will chase your enemies, and they shall fall by the sword before you. Five of you shall chase a hundred, and a hundred of you shall put ten thousand to flight; your enemies shall fall by the sword before you.” Leviticus 26:3

No More Excuses by Nina Keegan

Is not an excuse really just a little white lie that the enemy blindfolds us with to keep is in medioracy?

A friend of mine was recently telling me that her son just cannot take tests.. He excels in His class work  but when it comes to test taking his mind goes blank and he fails.. This was the reason he was doing so poorly in his classes..

Somewhere along the line this was spoken over him.. Or he just decided it himself;  but over the years it became etched into His mind like a river carves itself through a mountain base..

Deeper and deeper it flows.. Then it's a bonafide reality gripping itself to our leg like a ball and chain...

Excuses in our lives give us the permission to settle for less than God's best ..it seems we always have an excuse for our shortcomings, we always have something or someone else to blame for our less than stellar lot in life.

It is never our fault, we continuously brand our insecurities through seemingly justifiable alibis. We declare that this is how it always is for us,for our families..

We inhale the status quo and exhale the mundane.

Most failures come from from a history of excuses and a lack of perseverance..

Closed doors don't always mean NO, most of the time they mean that God has a bigger and better door.. We must move forward and keep knocking..

Matthew 7:7
“Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you.

We get so immersed in the past and caught up on old technicalities that we can't see hope staring at us through the dirty windows of our own self appointed limitations..we are confined only by the walls we build ourselves.

We can get so stuck in the rut of excuses that we even make excuses for our excuses..

the Bible is littered with excuse makers, starting off with Eve claiming it was all the serpents fault and it's erroneous ability to deceive her..

Genesis 3:13
Then the Lord God said to the woman, “What is this that you have done?” The woman said, “The serpent deceived me, and I ate.”

 God is saying enough!

Enough is enough!  It's time to receive The victory God has in store for you!  You can do all things through Christ who gives you strength!  He can give you supernatural qualifications.. He can cause you to be at the right place at the right time. If you speak life into your situation and speak faith into your circumstances, the favor of God and the blessings of Heaven will chase you down when you stop excusing them away...

The grace of God will supply all you need...consequently, you will have no need for further rationalizations for lack of personal victory in your life.

Trust the Word of God and the plans that He has for your life!  God's plan says He will give you a new hope and a bright future.

Success will ultimately come to you when your dreams become  bigger than your excuses..

Put to rest forever the old, makeshift justifications, peel back the layers of excuse after excuse that are holding you back from God's best! Become a new creation in Christ and let the blood of Jesus and His salvation promises justify you, vindicate you and excuse you from your excuses!

Through Christ You are made new and made whole in every area of your life!  Stop excusing away your dreams.. instead grab hold of them, start speaking life into your life...

Let the promises of God settle in your heart and declare these truths and let them override your regrets and rationalizations now!

When you give up your excuses you will  find your results!

Jeremiah 1:4-10
Now the word of the Lord came to me, saying, “Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, and before you were born I consecrated you; I appointed you a prophet to the nations.” Then I said, “Ah, Lord God! Behold, I do not know how to speak, for I am only a youth.” But the Lord said to me, “Do not say, ‘I am only a youth’; for to all to whom I send you, you shall go, and whatever I command you, you shall speak. Do not be afraid of them, for I am with you to deliver you, declares the Lord.” ..
