DO YOU HAVE DOUBTS..? By Nina Keegan

 MATTHEW 11:11
(Jesus talking about John the Baptist)

11 “I tell you the truth, of all who have ever lived, none is greater than John the Baptist. Yet even the least person in the Kingdom of Heaven is greater than he is!

Jesus describes John as the greatest man that ever lived… And yet John himself while in prison, had doubts if Jesus even was the Messiah…
What had caused John to waver in his belief?

We all can have doubts from time to time when our faith has been shaken... when trauma  and turmoil rock our world, it can cause us to cry out and ask, "Is any of this real… "God are you really there for me?"
"Do you even know where I am on the map?"

Well my friends, you are in good company, we have all been there at one time or another… When our circumstances cause our knees to buckle... perhaps those times are the times that we've taken our eyes off of Jesus and put them on our circumstances… Even John the Baptist has a moment like this…

There's no getting around it, John the Baptist was extremely unique, he was described as a wild man…he wore odd clothes, ate strange food… And he preached an unusual message even out in the wasteland... he did not live extravagantly… He was given a mission and he aimed at complete obedience.

This wild looking man was given an amazing role to play in the world, he was to announce the coming of our Savior… He was relentless in putting all he had into this monumental task.
Since his birth it was announced that John would be set apart for the service of God and John never wavered in being faithful to that call.

His job was not easy, he was fearless and preached the theme of repentance… Even though he was given remarkable responsibilities, God did not guarantee him an easy life..He was uncompromising...
He even challenged Herod to admit his sin which caused him to wind up in prison.

John baptized Jesus and heard an audible voice from the Father saying that this was his son in whom he was well pleased… He witnessed the dove as representation of the Holy Spirit..
He witnessed much more as the Scriptures from John state:

The Father used John the Baptist to bear witness to Jesus (5:33-35). The Father used Jesus’ works (miracles) which He gave Jesus to do to bear witness of Him (5:36). The Father used the Scriptures to bear witness of Jesus (5:37-47). Since all of these witnesses line up, the case for Jesus is solid: He is the Christ, the Son of God (20:31).

So John knew his mission since birth ...he would be the one to announce the coming of Jesus. He baptized Jesus and witnessed many miracles… And yet while in his prison cell… He began to doubt…

In John's time, He did not have a Bible as we have today but he had read the Scriptures on the scrolls(Old Testament)  and had read what the prophets long before the time of Jesus, had prophesied about His coming as it says in Isaiah...

Isaiah 35:5-6
Then will the eyes of the blind be opened and the ears of the deaf unstopped. 6 Then will the lame leap like a deer, and the mute tongue shout for joy. Water will gush forth in the wilderness and streams in the desert..

John studied and understood these truths, this was the basis of what he proclaimed in his mission of declaring the coming of the Messiah...
He knew Jesus… He loved Jesus… He witnessed the miracles of Jesus… And yet....

Doubts came!

When he was in his trial… When he was in the middle of the circumstances of life… When he was in prison… His Faith was shaken to the core..

Matthew 11:2-3
John the Baptist, who was in prison, heard about all the things the Messiah was doing. So he sent his disciples to ask Jesus, "are you the Messiah we've been expecting, or should we keep looking for someone else?"

His doubts were clear.. if his purpose was to prepare the people for the coming Messiah and if Jesus really was that Messiah, then why was John in prison when he could've been preaching to the crowds and preparing their hearts?

It made him think that he had gotten it all wrong....that he had missed his call..

But this is the message Jesus sends to him...

Matthew 11:4-6
Jesus told them, go back to John and tell him what you have heard and seen, "the blind see, the lame walk, the lepers are cured, the deaf hear, the dead are raised to life, and the good news is being preached to the poor. And tell him, God blesses those who do not turn away because of me"

Jesus was fulfilling the Scriptures from the prophet Isaiah ...

Jesus was performing the exact miracles that John had read about in the Scriptures…

The same miracles Isaiah  predicted the Messiah would do long before Jesus ever walked the earth… And when he sent this statement to John the Baptist in his prison... Jesus knew that John would recall that scripture and know that the prophecy was being fulfilled  by the one and only true messiah...

Jesus knew that John would understand all of this… Jesus knew that John's heart would receive this and that John would know that he had fulfilled his call in preparing hearts for the coming Messiah…   John would be content in knowing he had paved the way for Jesus and he had been obedient to his call!

Jesus knew that John's faith was weak and yet as in the scripture above; Jesus still calls John the greatest of all who have ever lived!

Oh the precious love of Jesus!!

Prophecies were coming to life… And John had been an essential and Integral part of it!

My friends we all have a call, we all have something we were born to do… We all have a purpose in Christ… The enemy would love to cause doubt and confusion and lead us away from that call… But nothing can stop what God has ordained for your life… Live on purpose for him, be obedient to the word...
Let God's word transform you as you take up your cross and follow him… He turns all things around for the good… I pray right now that you all would have the mind of Christ… That your thoughts would be his thoughts… And that the living Word of God would be forever etched in your hearts as he leads you on the glorious path that he has for you!

God bless you all!!

Psalm 119:147

I rise before dawn and cry for help; I wait for Your words.
1 John 5:13

These things I have written to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, so that you may know that you have eternal life.
Psalm 119:116

Sustain me according to Your word, that I may live; And do not let me be ashamed of my hope.
Genesis 28:15

"Behold, I am with you and will keep you wherever you go, and will bring you back to this land; for I will not leave you until I have done what I have promised you."
John 20:31

but these have been written so that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God; and that believing you may have life in His name.

Life has always been meant to be a collaboration with God.

We were never meant to go it alone… It seems to me that often times in the Bible God would lead people to go somewhere or do something without them knowing the big picture.. He would just say go… many times God doesn't want us to know the whole story, it might be too much for us to handle all at once… We would see the impossibilities of what God is asking us to do
And we would not see how completely possible it is because it is of God… If he said it...then he will do it, if it's his plan, then he will make a way….. many times just one word is all we need.. it's all we can handle.. we don't have to know everything… God is calling us to simply trust him!

We don't have to be perfect God just wants and loves obedience… When I was reading in Romans about Abraham… God's promise was to give the whole earth to him and his descendants, this promise was not based on obedience to God's law but on a right relationship with God himself..and that comes by faith. If God's promise is only for those who obey the law, then faith is not necessary and promises are pointless. In Romans 4 :16 -17
it says,
So the promise is received by faith. It is given as a free gift. And we are all certain to receive it, whether or not we live according to the law of Moses, if we have faith like Abrahams. For Abraham is the father of all who believe. That is what the Scriptures mean when God told him, "I have made you father of many nations."This happened because Abraham believed in the God who brings the dead back to life and who creates new things out of nothing.

Even when there was no reason for hope, Abraham kept hoping, believing that he would become the father of many nations. For God said to him .."that's how many descendent you will have.."and Abrahams faith did not weaken even though at about 100 years of age, he figured his body was as good as dead and so was Sara's womb.
But Abraham never wavered and believed in God's promise in fact,

His faith grew stronger!

Just think about how strong your faith must be when you are surrounded by complete and utter impossibilities on every level concerning the promise over your life... how was it that he was able to see past all of that and stay focused on the promise of God?
Friends it's time for us to take the leap into a new deeper level of faith in God… We can learn to navigate gray in a black-and-white world!
We don't have to hold the entire blueprint in our hand… Step out hand-in-hand with our Lord... He will never leave you or for sake you!!
One small step at a time… Have faith, trust Him!

Abraham never doubted that God would fulfill his promise. Abraham's life was marked by mistakes, sins, and failures as well as by wisdom and goodness, but he consistently trusted God. His faith was strengthened by the obstacles he faced ..and his life was an example of faith in action.
If he had only looked at what his own resources were... he would've been faced with only absolute impossibility's and complete despair. But Abraham looked to God, obeyed him, and waited for God to fulfill his word, his brilliant promise.

Faith is in what we cannot see… If we knew the whole picture start to finish of what God wants us to do, we would deem it impossible before we ever took a step… we would give up before we ever even started ....That's why we are only allowed to see in part and we are only given small instructions to follow at a time… Yes life is a collaboration with God
We mustn't ever rely on our own understanding..but just keep taking small steps in the right direction, 1 foot in front of the other in obedience… That's all it takes… Just get up and get moving… Through that simple act of obedience God will lead you and guide you… It's like God will drop the breadcrumbs on the trail all we have to do is follow them…
We don't have to know everything before we start our journeys..we just need to know that if God said it...then it will be glorious and he will do exceedingly abundantly more than we could ever ask or think.

Faith will always bring joy, the Bible says in Romans 5, therefore, since we have been made right in God's site by faith, we have peace with God because of what Jesus Christ our Lord has done for us. Because of our faith, Christ has brought us into this place of undeserved privilege where we now stand, and we confidently and joyfully look forward to sharing God's glory. We can rejoice when we run into problems and trials, for we know that they help us develop endurance. And endurance develops strength of character and character strengthens our confident hope of salvation.

This hope will not lead to disappointment.

For we know how dearly God loves us, because he has given us the Holy Spirit to fill our hearts with his love.

We can now be at peace with God ...peace with God means that we have been reconciled with him, there's no more sin blocking a relationship with him, peace with God is possible only because Jesus already paid the price through death on the cross...
Let the Holy Spirit be your guide, let the collaboration
form as we become completely dependent on our wonderful Lord for everything we need, he will give us all things we need pertaining to life and godliness, his plan is so much better than any plan we could ever think up.

We were once weak and helpless because we could do nothing on our own to save ourselves...
Christ came at exactly the right time in history according to God's own schedule. God controls all history and he controls the timing, the messages and the events surrounding Jesus' life ....while we were all yet sinners, God sent his son to die for us not because we were good enough, but just because he loved us!

Whenever you feel uncertain about God's love for you,and his plan for your life, remember that he already loved you and had a plan for your life before you ever even knew him...
Let his love for you through the Holy Spirit guide you every day.. that same power that raised Christ from the dead has saved you and is available to you in your daily life… As God's children , we reserve the power and the love to call on our Lord and Savior each day to help meet every challenge or trial or need!

Remember life is a collaboration we have all we need.. grab a hold of God's hand and fly!

And my God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus. | Philippians 4:19

Beloved, do not be surprised at the fiery trial when it comes upon you to test you, as though something strange were happening to you. | 1 Peter 4:12

Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, as God in Christ forgave you. | Ephesians 4:32

Bless those who persecute you; bless and do not curse them. | Romans 12:14

But God shows his love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. | Romans 5:8

But in your hearts honor Christ the Lord as holy, always being prepared to make a defense to anyone who asks you for a reason for the hope that is in you; yet do it with gentleness and respect. | 1 Peter 3:15

But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly of my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may rest upon me. | 2 Corinthians 12:9

Consequently, he is able to save to the uttermost those who draw near to God through him, since he always lives to make intercession for them. | Hebrews 7:25

This morning as I was spending time in the word, I realized how much God wants us to know... TO REALLY GRASP that  JESUS CHRIST has already paid the debt for our sins, Christ has reconciled us to God and gave us a complete outline, the full pattern we need to follow to help us grow spiritually...

Christ lives the complete fullness of God, and when we learn what Christ is like, we see what we need to become, and since Christ is Lord over all creation, we should crown him with our very lives, we must nurture our connection to Him...He is the head, we are the body… We get to live and move and have our being in Him...
Let's learn a little more about what we have available to us as the body of Christ....

The following is Paul's teaching...

Colossians 1:9-14New Living Translation (NLT)
We ask God to give you COMPLETE KNOWLEDGE OF HIS WILL and to give you SPIRITUAL UNDERSTANDING 10 Then the way you live will always honor and please the Lord, and your lives will produce EVERY KIND OF GOOD FRUIT. All the while, you will grow as you learn to KNOW GOD better and better.
11 We also pray that you will be STRENGTHENED with all his GLORIOUS POWER so you will have all the ENDURANCE and PATIENCE you need. May you be filled with JOY,12 always THANKING the Father. He has enabled you to  SHARE IN THE INHERITANCE that belongs to his people, who live in the light.13 For he has RESCUED US from the kingdom of darkness and TRANSFERRED us into the Kingdom of his dear Son, 14 who purchased our FREEDOM and FORGAVE our sins.

Paul was pointing out that we can have all the accumulation of knowledge available to us, but that knowledge in itself is empty if we do not have a close personal relationship with Jesus... through Salvation, through the blood shed of JESUS, we were transferred out of the darkness and into the light of Christ and all that that entails…We must long for more, we must go deeper and seek spiritual understanding like never before...
There are many, many people who can quote scripture and know the Bible cover to cover… But have NO FRUIT in their lives… They are like empty vessels… They have head knowledge, but no heart knowledge... we must seek God's understanding of how to apply his word to our lives… We must seek him daily for guidance and wisdom as we allow the Holy Spirit to gain access to our innermost being… We must surrender all,  allow him to move in us, to cleanse us, and to change us from glory to glory.. seek Him to direct our every step... we must get a grasp on understanding who our HEAVENLY FATHER IS! Salvation must lead
to a changed life and right living....

This prayer is two dimensional… Paul wanted people to have complete knowledge of God's will for them, have great spiritual wisdom and understanding… We must be able to understand what the word means for us and be able to apply it… He was also pointing out, that our lives when completely devoted to Christ could produce EVERY KIND OF GOOD FRUIT and that the more we learn and as we get to know God better, the better our knowledge and understanding will be..God's Word is not just to be accumulated, but applied as the direction we need for correct and right living… We are to seek wisdom in our understanding and use our knowledge to bring about change for his glory!

The knowledge of God is for all of us, not just for a secret is open to everyone who desires and longs to learn more about God and to those who diligently seek intimacy with Him!

His word supersedes the fabric of time and reality. There is unlimited creativity, unfathomable Love ..
He was not created, not made but always exsisted, our minds can not even ponder His majestic glory..
He is the beginning, the end, the alpha, the omega,

Col 1:17
He existed before anything else,he holds all creation together. Christ is also the head of the church which is the body, he is the beginning, supreme over all who rise from the dead. He is first in everything. For God in all his  fullness was pleased to live in Christ, and through him God reconciled everything to himself!

My friends because Christ is spiritually supreme in the universe, Surely we must give him first place in all of our thoughts and activities, our lives... we must seek Him first!
Because of Christ's death on the cross, he has been exulted, elevated to the status that was rightfully His..

Christ has always been God and always will be..

When we have Christ in our lives, we have all of God in human form we have his complete humanity and his complete divinity!!!
Glory to God what an amazing Father we have that gave us all things pertaining to life and godliness… Why should we ever worry, why should we ever fear? We have all we will ever need… WE ARE BLOOD BOUGHT.. RECONCILED AND MADE NEW IN HIM! Can you grasp it?

God bless you all!!!
Love and blessings..Nina❤️

that I may know Him and the power of His resurrection and the fellowship of His sufferings, being conformed to His death;

"This is eternal life, that they may know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom You have sent.

More than that, I count all things to be loss in view of the surpassing value of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord, for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and count them but rubbish so that I may gain Christ,

And we know that the Son of God has come, and has given us understanding so that we may know Him who is true; and we are in Him who is true, in His Son Jesus Christ This is the true God and eternal life.

but grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ To Him be the glory, both now and to the day of eternity. Amen.

It's time for GOD'S people to FLOURISH and THRIVE again!

I heard God say in my spirit that His people are not thriving...

It's time for us to believe that God wants all things to work together for good for us… He wants us to be victorious in every area of our lives, he wants us to Flourish!!!

Psalm 92:12
But the godly will FLOURISH  like palm trees and grow strong like the cedars of Lebanon.

To be in a vigorous state, thrive, a period of which to be revived, to be in one's prime, to be at the height of excellence, influence, to be successful, to prosper, to grow as a plant thriving!

God wants us to Flourish in Him, He wants to find our souls resting more and more in his righteousness… The Word says when we do this we will flourish like a palm tree…

Palm trees do not snap and break in storms they are very strong and have the ability to bend and sway…… They are easily adaptable and can withstand many many harsh elements...

We are to be like that, we are not to break in the midst of a storm ,but we are to be able to bend and adapt and to adjust in the times of adversity… We can Thrive no matter what is going on around us because God is the One in whom we put our trust!

God wants us to Flourish in the sanctuary of the Lord… We must always remember that the power of prayer is always in the ONE who hears it, not in the one who speaks it…

Col 1:27
Christ in us is the hope of glory

Hope in the Bible means a definite, positive, expectation of God!

When we have positive expectations and hope… We will Flourish!!!

Isaiah 26:3
I will be in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on thee

The Word mind ,translates as imagination, the ability to see with your heart what you can't see with your eyes… We cannot think of something that you can't picture with your eyes;
If I say the word apple, you see an apple....imagination is how we meditate, think, understand and remember.

Take the word of God and let it excite your imagination, say things that aren't as though they are ...speak life into your situations and live with expectancy, live knowing that God wants you to Flourish  and thrive in Him!!!

Do not allow your imagination to see yourself as poor, sick tired, depressed… People who quit and give up are those whose imagination is negative and those who have no hope..

For as he think it's in his heart so is he... proverb 23:7

You get to choose whether or not your
Imaginations and thoughts are positive or negative.. and those thoughts will eventually become self fulfilling prophecy's either way, if we are not careful to guard our hearts and watch our words!
We need to cast down all thoughts that are not of the Lord, we need to shut off all negativity at the onset and take every thought captive!

People's hearts will fail them for fear when looking at all of the things happening on earth. You have to stay in God's word and let it dominate you or the unbelief of this world will extinguish your positive thoughts and it will make you become more like the world… (negativity breeds negativity) Hope is powerful and yet hope deferred makes the heart grow sick...

Hebrews 11:1
Faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen!!

It's time to start believing that the Lord wants you to thrive, Flourish, and prosper in every area of your life... get your Hope back by encouraging yourself in the word of the Lord and start speaking positively over every area of your life!

Be mindful of what you speak… Speak only what's good and positive over your life.. Think good thoughts…

Philippians 4:8

Meditate on These Things

Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy—meditate on these things.

God bless you as you realize and receive the word today that God wants you to Flourish in all areas of your life!!! You are strong like Palm trees that can thrive even in harsh conditions!

Ps. 92:12: The righteous shall flourish like a palm tree, he shall grow like a cedar in Lebanon.

Eph. 4:15: But, speaking the truth in love, may grow up in all things into Him who is the head - Christ…

2 Peter 3:18: But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To Him be the glory both now and forever. Amen.

1 Peter 2:2: As newborn babes, desire the pure milk of the word, that you may grow thereby…

Col. 1:9-10: For this reason we also, since the day we heard it, do not cease to pray for you, and to ask that you may be filled with the knowledge of His will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding; that you may walk worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing Him, being fruitful in every good work and ...

DRAW NEAR TO GOD by Nina Keegan

GENESIS. 45:10-11
"You shall dwell in the land of GOSHEN, and you shall BE NEAR to me, you and your children, your children's children, your flocks and your herds and all that you have. There I will provide for you, lest you and your household, and all that you have, come to poverty; for there are still five years of famine."
Goshen = "drawing near"
Today I want to focus on the word, the place, called GOSHEN…  God often inspires me to look things up in Hebrew and when I saw that this word means "drawing near" I knew in my spirit God wanted me to study it in depth.
God has promised in his word to reveal the great mysteries of his word to us...
Exodus 8:22: "the land of Goshen, in which my people dwell,"
THIS IS WHERE WE ,(GOD'S PEOPLE) DWELL( rest, draw near)
The Word Goshen is used 15 times in the Bible, it is a secret place, a land, a place of drawing near to God..  many times God sends people to the land of Goshen for safety, for a time of rest and renewal, for protection!
"God just wants us to (draw near) to him as He draws near to us"..
The second half of that scripture talks about trials that are looming up ahead, there will still be famines, there will still be trouble, but not to worry because God's people will be in the land of (drawing near to God)… It talks about being there in Goshen with your children and all of your belongings… No matter what the world brings, we can be there too , in the secret place, drawing near to God... abiding in Him, and being kept safe!
God is our shelter, He is our refuge in times of trouble.. we can go to the land of Goshen, by drawing near to God!
When we draw near to God, we abide in him and he abides in us… 1 John 4:13
There in the secret place...GOSHEN (drawing near) to God , He will provide for us...
We can rest securely in Him and trust Him no matter what our circumstances look like in the natural...
When we are drawing near to God, we are kept secure in his protection and in our saviors care… We must seek Him first, it is a two way street ..the Bible says when we draw near to God he draws near to us...
God desires that intimacy with us not only because He loves us but because he knows that through that intimacy with him we will be in that secret place of protection where he can keep us safe from the enemy and provide for us our every need…
" Life is meant to be a collaboration with God… We were never meant to go it alone…" apart from him we can do nothing...
Draw nearer to God every day, spend time in the land of Goshen with our wonderful Lord and savior, and watch him lead you, guide you, bless you, prosper you, heal you, it is there that you will have a fresh baptismal of the Father's abiding love for you like you've never known!
Goshen is where we will trust  God to reveal to us the great mysteries of his will for us… Where our own plans can be replaced with God's plans as He directs our every step..
"However, there is a God in heaven who reveals mysteries,
God Bless you all in the mighty precious and Holy name of Jesus !
1) a region in northern Egypt, east of the lower Nile, where the children of Israel lived from the time of Joseph to the time of Moses
2) a district in southern Palestine between Gaza and Gibeon
3) a town in the mountains of Judah
This word is used 15 times:
Genesis 46:28: "Joseph, to direct his face unto Goshen;and they came into the land of Goshen."
Genesis 46:28: "unto Goshen; and they came into the land of Goshen."
Genesis 46:29: "to meet Israel his father, to Goshen, and presented himself unto him; and he fell on"
Genesis 46:34: "our fathers: that ye may dwell in the land of Goshen; for every shepherd"
Genesis 47:1: "out of the land of Canaan; and, behold, they are in the land of Goshen."
Genesis 47:4: "therefore, we pray thee, let thy servants dwell in the land of Goshen."
Genesis 47:6: "and brethren to dwell; in the land of Goshen let them dwell: and if thou knowest any men"
Genesis 47:27: "of Egypt, in the country of Goshen; and they had possessions therein, and grew, and multiplied exceedingly."
Genesis 50:8: "and their herds, they left in the land of Goshen."
Exodus 8:22: "the land of Goshen, in which my people dwell,"
Exodus 9:26: "Only in the land of Goshen, where the children of Israel were, was"
Joshua 10:41: "even unto Gaza, and all the country of Goshen, even unto Gibeon."
Joshua 11:16: "the south country, and all the land of Goshen, and the valley, and the plain, and the mountain of Israel,"

Is Your Heart Hardened? By Nina Keegan

Is your heart hardened
The Bible says in proverbs 4:23

Keep and guard your heart with all vigilance ABOVE ALL that you guard, for out of it flows the springs of life...

Above all else God wants us to guard our hearts… Why is this such an important key?

Because all things pertaining to life flow from our hearts, the Bible says that out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks… So many times we can hear people's hurts flowing through the negativity of their mindset and attitude.  They never stop faultfinding and complaining about everything… This can be a hardened heart towards the Lord...  The Bible says our hearts can get seared...
Like a callous… We become so hard hearted  that we don't allow the good stuff in… and the bad stuff gets trapped inside...

This happens over time but before you know it, you're in deep… A pity party can turn to a hardened heart very quickly… how the enemy loves to make us feel sorry for ourselves… and to get other people to feel sorry for us too... The bitterness seeps in and the complaining follows and at first it might be about a few things but then , like the spread of an infectious disease, before long there's never anything good to say about anything...

As the mind thinks, the man will follow…

What you dwell on will become what you live!

A hardened heart is a disease that needs to be addressed and healed..

Our hearts are the soil for the seeds that God wants to plant in us, He wants to give us seeds of hope and victory… But many times our hearts are so filled with pride, jealousy, bitterness anger… this arrogance can keep a person from turning back to God, it claims no need of help from anyone human or divine ...
this is dangerous territory because many people in this state refuse to repent and think they've done nothing wrong and that the world is venomously out to get them ...

When our hearts are so full of these seeds of discord, there is no room for the good stuff… Like weeds, bitter roots(strongholds) can take over and choke off the good seeds that God's been trying to plant and develop in our lives.

So what exactly does it mean to guard  your heart… What is a guard for in any situation?
A guard at a door boldly stands courageously forbidding the enemy to trespass!
Bodyguards protect and stay vigilant to guard people from assailants...
And yet if our hearts are the source for the springs of all life… Then should we not place the most protective armor and guards around it?… How do you protect yourself..?

Don't stand in the presence of evil, remove yourself from the cracks in the open doorways that allow evil to sneak in… SEAL THEM...Garbage in garbage out, what are the temptations the enemy is dangling on a string in front of you… The ones you know you shouldn't go near? The repeat offenders… The tough weeds…? The ones we tend to water the most with our flawed self will..?

Where have you allowed anger and unforgiveness to take root by routinely discussing those terrible things that happened to you and the reasons why you could never forgive the someone who has hurt you…

All these things have snuck past the guard of your heart and have caused damage, hardness and again have blocked the seeds of victory that God has planted in you…
These danger zones of negative thinking have choked off the goodness… they are mind tainting... poisoning the good and fertile soil of our hearts.

What is growing in your heart?  Is it time to do some gardening? Some pruning?

The enemy is always coming to try to steal, kill and destroy, he steals the seed of God's word, he hijacks the promises and tries to make us believe they are never going to come to pass in your life… So you give up on all hope and let your heart become a little more hard each time.
The Bible says when you sow seeds into good ground by guarding your heart and by standing on believing what the word says and that God's promises will come to pass…
You can have a victory even if your circumstances don't agree Faith is in what we cannot see…

Do not allow seeds of discouragement, bitterness and anger to affect your faith.
Post the strongest and most vigilant of all guards at the door post of your heart.. DO NOT ALLOW ANYTHING IN THAT IS CONTRADICTORY TO GOD'S WORD!
Allow God to wash you clean and allow the healing power of the blood of Jesus to cleanse and pluck out all of the bitter roots that have calloused your heart, repent...forgive... and let God love you with his radiant mercy, forgiveness and grace… Let these seeds be the ones you water and fertilize...
Let your heart be softened by the love of Jesus...

Recognize the enemies plots and refuse to let them be planted. Replace the wrong thoughts with the right thoughts according to the word of God...

Stay in the word and write it on those tablets of your heart… So you can stand strong in guarding and protecting the most precious part of you from where the springs of all life flow..
Let's all praise and worship God unceasingly, and never let glory stop flowing… God inhabits our praises…we are changed from glory to glory… Let King Jesus take up residence in your heart...❤️

God bless you all in Jesus name I pray that you would have strength to stand guard and to stay focused on all the Lord has for you and that you would have a revelation of his life changing love!
