Give It All To God... By Nina Keegan-Owens

James1:2-5 
My brothers and sisters, think of the various tests you encounter as occasions for joy. After all, you know that the testing of your faith produces endurance. Let this endurance complete its work so that you may be fully mature, complete, and lacking in nothing. But anyone who needs wisdom should ask God, whose very nature is to give to everyone without a second thought, without keeping score. Wisdom will certainly be given to those who ask.

Sometimes we go through some pretty tough times in our lives. It often seems like things can all change in a blink of an eye and you wonder how you got to this place. You look back on your circumstances as a trail of mishaps and insecurities, doubts, and mistakes. Sometimes we drag so much around with us that it's hard to see the past from the present. We anchor ourselves in an odd misery loves company way that halts us from moving forward and living a blessed life. Things become very skewed and we are at an absolute loss as to how to "fix it". We want so much to get it all right, to do the right thing and to put everything in a neatly organized box with a clearly marked label. 

We want answers to things we may never know. We want the complete instruction guide and easy step by step  manifesto to get us back on track. We agonize over what to do next. We become so entrenched in our problems that we fail to see what God has put before us every day. The enemy loves distracting us and making us fear things. When we are focused on our problems, we lose focus of God. We get so down, things spin so rapidly out of control and we become unrecognizable. Sometimes it's just to painful to look in the mirror and face ourselves. It is almost like our reflection will show us things to tough to handle right now. Sometimes we just don't want to face what God is trying to show us.

We think we are so smart and that we can go it alone. We agonize over our fears and let them take root. We must remember that fear is just false evidence appearing real. We pull the old baggage out and let it echo to us one more time. We almost feel deserving of the old reminders of failures and guilt. They are part of us and perhaps it is scarey to really become all that we are meant to be. Can we really ever be free? The old record playing in the  backgroud of our mind is a part of us. could we possibly be made whole? Could we change those things that appear to have carved out trenches in our souls and are at the very essence of who we are? Is it too late? Never.. God is in control...

  Romans 12:2
    Don’t be conformed to the patterns of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind so that you can figure out what God’s will is—what is good and pleasing and mature. 
Renewing of our minds.... Doesn't that sound amazingly brilliant ? 

I know that we need to remind ourselves to give it all to God. He can make a way for us even when we are staring blankly in the wake of adversity! God is ABLE to take your mess and turn it in to the most inspiring message. God can use the hardest and most taxingly stressful test and turn it into your testimony. 
 
We often fail in our own attempts because we are operating in the flesh. We are settling for a life that is deeply rooted in pain instead of letting God take over. It is so hard for us ... but what ever it is you are going through it is NOT to hard for God.  We must remind ourselves daily that He loves us so much.  When we hurt, He hurts. He sent His only child, His one and only son to be brutally beat, whipped and nailed to a cross for us. He did that because He first loved us, not because of anything we did, quite simply ...He LOVES us. He loves us with an everlasting love. He took all of our messes and sadness, our illnesses, our hurting relationships, our finances, our grief, our pain, our sins, our greed, our fears and nailed them to the cross with His Son Jesus Christ and let everything, every last thing be covered in the Blood of His dying Son Jesus Christ. 

Lamentations 3:21-22


21     Yet hope returns when I remember this one thing:

22 The Lord's unfailing love and mercy still continue, 


Through the blood of Jesus shed on the cross, we have hope! We have a future! 
We have restoration and healing, we can see our promises fulfilled, our relationships restored, our finances increased, our tears, worries, fears anxieties and pain can be washed away. Our old insecurities can be disolved and replaced with pure joy!  We must let go and let God, we must not let things get to far without giving Him a chance. Praise Him in the valleys for what He can and will do in your life. God's timing is perfect so give time time. Do not be so quick to give up, that is like saying you do not trust what God can do.  Speak life over every situation in your life. Remember that all things work together for the good for those who love God. 

Isaiah 40:31

31     but those who hope in The Lord 
    will renew their strength;
    they will fly up on wings like eagles;
    they will run and not be tired;
    they will walk and not be weary.

Just when you feel like you cannot go on, like you have cried your last tear, like there is absolutely no way out; that's when God shows up in all His glory with legions of heavenly angels to fight for you. His miracles spring forth so we know it was through Him and His grace that our prayers are answered. Give it all to Him, get out of your own way, cry out to The Lord because He can do what man can't do!  His promises never fail and He, yes He still answers our prayers! When you don't even have a prayer left to pray.. Pray the way Jesus taught us to pray... The Lord's Prayer..

Our Father, who art in heaven,
hallowed be thy name.
Thy Kingdom come, 
thy will be done, 
on earth as it is in heaven
Give us this day our daily bread.
And forgive us our trespasses,
as we forgive those who trespass against us. 
And lead us not into temptation, 
but deliver us from evil. 
For thine is the kingdom, the power and the glory. for ever and ever Amen


Heavenly Father I cry out to you now, I know you hear my prayers and you love me..I need you to show up , I need a miracle.. you know where I am right now I ask you to forgive me as I give it all to you today. I trust your word to perfect all that concerns me today. I praise you sweet Lord!

God Will Never Leave You ..by Nina Keegan Owens

1 Peter 5:7
Give ALL your worries to Him, because He cares for you.

God is with you, All Ways.... Always !!!!

How many of you remember those old commercials about Maytag repair man?

For you young ones out there, the commercials were for the Maytag appliance company. The concept showed a sweet, elderly, gentleman in a Maytag repairman uniform. He was always eagerly waiting in a lonely office for the phone to ring so he could go "repair" something, but the appliances were apparently so well made that his services were never needed. He sat alone day in and day out, his precious time being wasted. You could not help but love the sweet Maytag repairman, but you also felt very sad for him. He was a man without a purpose.

I sometimes picture God that way, I can't help but feel sorry for Him at times. I think we often times neglect Him and try to go it alone. We forget that He is always right here waiting to help us, all we have to do is ask. Yet why does it seem that we only turn to Him in a crisis or when we are in panic mode? He wants to be part of our everyday lives. The Bible says He will never leave us nor forsake us, this means He is always with us, ALWAYS!
But how many of us actually live our lives in such a way as to reflect the constant presence of God?

(Deuteronomy 31:6)
Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the Lord your God goes with you wherever you go; He will NEVER leave you nor forsake you.”

Can you even comprehend what this scripture means? Do you actually realize that the Lord of the entire universe is constantly with you?
When you really stop to meditate on and grasp this amazing concept, its truth is mind boggling!

God is everything to everyone. He is all we will ever need. He is right here beside each and every one of us every minute and every precious second of every day!

When you begin to actually understand this principle, the doors of your mind begin to open one by one thinking of all the great, mighty and amazingly wonderful things God is and all that He can and will do for us simply because He loves us. All we have to do is ask. The Bible says to keep on asking, to go boldly to the throne and seek God in ALL things. The scriptures tell us to fervently pray about everything, big and small! He is sitting right there, waiting to be needed, waiting for you to call His name and invite Him into your everyday life.

Some people have this misconception that God should not be bothered with all the little mundane things and that He has much bigger issues and "real"problems to solve. This could not be further from the truth. God does not have to leave the prayers and the severity of a situation of one person to come help you, remember, He is ALWAYS with you. He is omniscient. He is all things, to all people, all the time. The scriptures tell us that God is even concerned about the birds of the air, He takes care of them and feeds them. How much more then does He care for us, His children?

God is not a pushy God, He will never try to pry His way into our lives. We must through faith and salvation have a realization of our constant need of Him and seek Him diligently. We must die to our old, selfish, I can do it myself, ways and trust our lives in their entirety to our loving God! When we do this and resign to the fact that we can do nothing without Him, we will see the most amazing changes in our lives. We will be able to do and accomplish things we never dreamed of. Doors will be opened, dreams will be realized, peace will surround us and we will walk in the favor and blessings of God that surpass all understanding. What are you waiting for? Do not miss one more day covered in the presence of God and all the supernatural wonders that accompany His love.
It must begin with us, we must first seek Him and all the rest shall be done...

Romans 11:36
For of Him, and through Him, and to Him, are ALL things: to whom be glory for ever. Amen.

God is ever present .. He is everything! He is our comforter when we are sad, a mighty counselor when we need discernment and a healthy dose of wisdom. He is the God of peace when we are stressed, anxious and fearful. He is the healer of our mind, body and soul. He is our great physician. He is a shoulder to cry on and He shares in all of our greatest joys. He causes us to be triumphant by being our edifier, and our great encourager. He is our strength when we are weak. He's our shelter, our shield, our fortress and our strong tower protecting us from all harm. He is our rescuer, our deliverer, our mighty Lord and our personal savior. He is our life coach, our marriage counselor, and a teacher for our children.
He is our guide and the finest architect of the best laid plans for our lives. He finds us when we are lost. He forgives us when we sin against Him. God is always right there ready to dole out the unending blessings, and the amazing grace we need to get through the trials of every day. He cares about each and every little thing. If it matters to you, it matters to God! If that is all not brilliant enough, He also commands His Legions of heavenly angels to take charge over us.They constantly camp out around us, guarding us in all of our ways,( Psalm 91). We are never alone! Never!

Proverbs 3:6
In ALL your ways acknowledge Him,
And He shall direct your paths.

All means all, not some, not a select few not just what you deem important enough to let God be in charge of, but in ALL our ways, in everything we think, do and say, we must acknowledge Him! We mustn't leave God sitting all alone waiting for our phone call. Let Him lead you. He knows the best way, His way is the only way. He knows what we need when and how we need it. He is the universe's greatest repairman, the difference is, unlike Maytag appliances we are in constant need of repair, we will never not need God. We need to train ourselves to fully rely on God for ALL things. We need to praise him with grateful hearts for all He tirelessly and lovingly does for us all. We are nothing without Him! He can make anyone great and strong. We can do ALL things through Christ who strengthens us!

Chronicles 29:11-12
You are great and powerful, glorious, splendid, and majestic. Everything in heaven and earth is yours, and you are king, supreme ruler over all.
All riches and wealth come from you; you rule everything by your strength and power; and you are able to make anyone great and strong.

Thank You Father that you are always with me, holding my hand through life and carrying me when I'm to tired to do it alone. I only need to say your name and you, the God of the universe is all I will ever need! I praise you my sweet Father and thank you for absolutely everything!

Setting Goals ..By Nina Keegan Owens

Philippians 3:13-14

Forgetting the things that are behind and reaching out for the things that are ahead, with this goal in mind, I strive toward the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.

A goal is an end toward which effort is directed. Why do we need them? Why are they so important to living our best life?

The scripture above clearly states that we need to forget the past and reach out, grab hold of the great things ahead. We should focus on what is to come, strive, and work towards the prize which is the call of God on our lives. In other words we should all be working toward the wonderful, gift, talent, goal or highly unique and personalized prize that God has bestowed upon each of us. Our futures are an upward calling from God. This simply means we are meant to rise higher, we are to live above our circumstances and not below, we are to live out our divine purpose and fulfill our God given destiny

Not having a goal is a recipe for status quo and mediocracy. I read that about only 3 % of people actually write down their goals, and studies have proven that some of the worlds most successful, highly effective, motivated, prosperous and happy, people
are the ones who do write down specific goals for themselves and then set about striving to achieve them.

Writing down our goals is like a starting line so to speak, it is a small action that one takes to get the ball rolling. Something happens when we actually see our words of declaration scribbled across a page. What we read sends a clear message to our brain and our brain will start an ingenious process of leading us in a direction toward that goal.

God made our brains so intricately amazing that we are capable of having well over 20 million thoughts per second, yes that is per second. Most of which are in our subconscious. They organize ,filter, process and arrange millions of ideas into a database if you will, giving us plans, solutions, knowledge and the wisdom we need to obtain our goals.

The Word says in Jeremiah 29:11 that God has a plan for our lives, a plan for good and to give us a hope and a prosperous future. He has planted talents and dreams in us all. Nowhere does the Bible say that there is any kind of expiration date on our great plan.. It is never to late, and now is not to soon. There is no time like the present. Let's get going!!!!

So go grab a piece of paper and a pen, go ahead I'll wait.........,

Ok then... You know what's next!!! Write down your most amazing, from the heart, would love to do more than anything, goal!! ,Do NOT write down only what you think you can do or what you may be able to accomplish now , but write confidently in BIG, bold, letters what YOU REALLY WANT to do. I guarantee you that both lists would be very different! Don't ever sell your self short!! After all, where do our dreams and desires and talents come from? From The Lord!! He puts those notions in your heart. He gives us all unique gifts and talents, each of us is equipped to go after and achieve anything! Yes anything! The first battle must be won in our own minds believing that we CAN do all things through Christ who strengthens us..
(Phil 4:13)

Why would God ever give us a dream that we were incapable of obtaining? Why would He give us talents to be wasted and not used? He wants to give us the desires of our heart. He longs to bless us and see us prosper and be blessed. He will guide us, help us, and line up divine opportunities .He will give us supernatural abilities and cause things to follow in our favor. He can make you stand out, He can give you the grace you need to handle every obstacle and He can open every door! We should think HUGE and declare abundant and amazingly explosive goals for ourselves... Why not you? Why not me?

We first must trust God, He will never leave you... Never!! so this is an awesome bonus since God will be right there to help us always. Then we must do our part, STAY POSITIVE, work hard, practice. study, focus, believe and never give up. Even when it seems impossible , even when we want to throw in the towel we must still aim for the prize and run the race. The finish line is always closer than you think! Your race is much different from everyone else's. Each successful persons's race, road to glory, and journey will never be like anyone else's. There's so much to learn and enjoy along the way. Stay goal minded, remember as the mind thinks, the man follows!

1 Corinthians 9:24
Do you not know that all the runners in a stadium compete, but only one receives the prize? So run to win your race.

We hear story after story and amazing accounts of how many famous people throughout history whose amazing achievements have dramatically changed, benefited, and inspired our lives today had first failed hundreds of times. The commonality of these individuals is that they saw a goal, they visualized a dream. and kept on striving regardless of the odds. They refused to listen to the nay sayers. Defeat was never an option, they never gave up.

Case and point, Thomas Edison took years and many failed attempts to invent the incandescent lightbulb that changed the way we live forever. In Walt Disney's biography it states that his high school art teacher told him he lacked creativity. Michael Jordan, one of the most famous NBA players of all time never even made his high school basketball team. The list is endless!

Luke 1:37
For nothing is impossible with God.

Nothing means nothing!!! Write down your Goals, spend time daily visualizing yourself already having accomplished them. See every last detail of it all. What is it you will be doing? Where will you be? What way specifically would you like to see it play out? Spend time each day nurturing that vision by speaking out loud, declaring your goal in present tense. Fill in the blank as the future will dictate, "I am...." I can..." This is personal, nobody but you and God need to hear you! Then try to do something everyday to move yourself toward that goal. Live on purpose! Work hard, learn all you can, stay positive, and focused on the prize, the end result, find a mentor, someone or something that inspires you. Never give up! Hard work always pays off! Be tenacious, you are more than a conqueror! Speak only those things about your situation that will benefit you in some way! Refuse to let negativity take root.
Romans 4:17 says we can call things into existence that do not yet exist. We can believe and receive...

If you have a goal and a dream, do not let anyone including yourself tell you all the reasons why you can't make it happen. Tell yourself all the reasons why it will! Then .... Go do it!!!

You gave us our dreams, talents and desires, help us to stay focused and trust you to help us see them reached! We know we are nothing without you.. The Big Picture.. by Nina Keegan-Owens


(Hebrews 11:1)
Now faith is the assurance that what we hope for will come about and the certainty that what we cannot see exists.

Have you ever tried to put together one of those giant jigsaw puzzles that has at least a thousand pieces? They are very time consuming. When you first open and glance into the large box of tiny freeform pieces, it's hard to imagine that each little piece has a significant job to do. 1 tiny random piece doesn't look like much of anything on its own but once you start putting them together and start finding that perfect little niche that needed that exact shaped piece, the formation of a beautiful picture begins to take shape. If even one piece is missing the puzzle will be incomplete.

Puzzles are like life sometimes except for one major difference, we get to see the end results of the puzzle before we begin the long toil of assembling it. The full picture of the completed puzzle is always on the box top. We already know the end results. We know the outcome that we will patiently create and we are not the least bit surprised by its ending. We saw the end from the beginning. Even though one piece on its own does not look like much of anything, together with all its counter parts wonderful things start to emerge... A bigger picture ...Sound Familiar?

( Isaiah 46:10)
I declare the end from the beginning, and from long ago what is not yet done, saying: My plan will take place, and I will do all My will.

God is the creator of our great puzzle called life. Each one of us has our own unique box with an amazing picture on the top, "The big picture", the picture that God carefully designed for each of us. We cannot ever see this picture, only God himself knows what our finished portrait will look like. He is working diligently on our behalf tirelessly arranging all of our puzzle pieces into a wonderful order of abundant blessings on a pathway of unspeakable joy.

When we are going through the tough times and can't make a bit of sense out of our hectic lives, we need only to remember that this is just one tiny piece of our puzzle. If this piece was missing, we would not be complete. We need all the pieces good and bad, easy and difficult to shape us and guide us on our uniquely individual paths. We may have to be uncomfortable for a bit. We may have to weather some unwelcomed storms but I guarantee you that those times of difficulty are never wasted. They serve a mighty purpose in our lives. We learn through times of uncertainty and pain. Our faith is fortified and strengthened. We learn to relinquish control and let God take the reigns. He has the bird's eye view. He has the miraculous ability to look down and see our entire time line, start to finish, beginning to end and every single second in between. He sees the whole puzzle at once. We see only the one tiny piece that we seem to be stuck on right now. He sees exactly where that piece belongs.

Ephesians 2:10
For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them.

This Scripture tells us that we were created for good works that God has already prepared for us ahead of time. So no matter where we seem to be or what issues we may be facing, they will be used for good because God has already gone before us and prepared the way. He already knows the plan, the way out, the diagram for victory. He sent His beloved son who paid the price in advance for everything we could ever need.

Jeremiah 29:11-14
For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for good and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope. Then you will call upon me and come and pray to me, and I will hear you. You will seek me and find me, when you seek me with all your heart. I will be found by you, declares the Lord, and I will restore your fortunes and gather you from all the nations and all the places where I have driven you, declares the Lord, and I will bring you back to the place from which I sent you into exile.

We all certainly have those disheartening days where even though we prayed for a day blessed with favor, protection and safety, we still feel like we just got painfully pelted, metaphorically speaking, with a large rock! With anger and frustration we cry out to God asking why? "Why was I hurt by a stone when I prayed for protection today. Why did you ignore my prayers for safety?" What we are unable to see is the big picture. We could not see that God was standing right in front of us Shielding us from an avalanche of rocks that were being hurled at us. One rock may have randomly slipped through. We however can only manage to focus on that 1 stray stone that hit us. We see only that one tiny piece of the puzzle. We did not see that God did protect us from something very brutal. While we felt the sting of only one rock and asked where God was, God was lovingly sparing us from a very painful situation and certain calamity.

For example,
we might have had a bad morning because our car would not start and we were late to work perhaps not realizing that in the big picture God may have been preventing us from being in accident had we been on our normal routine route. Quite simply, we worry and complain about the stormy weather when God is lovingly saying His flowers just needed a drink. We see only one tiny piece of the puzzle ....

What is the reason we do not get to see more than a tiny piece of the puzzle at a time? God designed us that way so we must put our focus and trust in Him. Uncertainty builds faith in our wonderfully omniscient, all knowing God. If we knew what God knows, we would never change a thing. In fact we would decide real quick to go back to our old oblivious lives and let God handle the rest. We would see the magnitude of impossibilities we could never face without God going before us to clear the way and secure our footing.

God's ways are not our ways. We think God should just simply do plan A and all our problems would be solved but we could not see all the flaws in that plan. God takes us way over to plan C and we do not understand why. That plan seems so long and useless. Plan A seemed so much easier and more convenient to us. God sees what we cannot, His reasons for choosing the plan He did could have spared us much heartache even though it did not seem that way to us. We are not and never will be equipped to do God's job! The Bible says our steps are already ordered. When we fail to follow God closely allowing Him to lead us, we stumble, we falter and wind up taking one more trip around the mountain and one more dreadful, less than scenic, detour. When we follow God's ways, He gently puts each precious piece of our lives together. One by one the pieces fit perfectly together. Each tiny, colorful, piece tells its own story. Each one in its own perfect place and time. Together they all work together to make a beautiful picture, one that is brilliantly painted by the most talented and creative of all artists!

Enjoy your life, day by day, piece by piece. Do not worry about tomorrow today, let God be God! Cast all your cares and run to win that which has already been won for you! No matter what things may look like, a new piece of the puzzle is coming! God is already searching in the box for that next perfect piece with the answer you have been praying for. Find the good in every situation always remembering that God is completely in control and He always sees... The Big Picture!!

Thank you Father for always taking care to answer my prayers as you see fit. Help me to trust you even when it looks impossible from where I'm sitting. I love you and praise you that you are just putting the finishing touches on my next puzzle piece... In Jesus name!

God Is The Great I AM.. By Nina Keegan Owens

(Ex 3:14-15)
God said unto Moses, I AM THAT I AM

Two small words, 3 simple letters, "I AM".
The Lord tells us repeatedly in His Word that He is the great "I AM"...I thought about that and wondered why He never added anything else to that statement.. I felt like God was being so vague and most certainly leaving out all the wonderfully important details and awe inspiring adjectives that He could have used to enhance His own resume or curriculum vitae. Yet, He chose not to. At no better time do the words "less is more" or "simple abundance", hold more truth... God's unvarnished, powerfully simplistic, 2 small words say more about this most awesome God than a whole novel ever could. They assure us that not one miraculous trait defining our God could ever be left out. "I AM", says it all... The magnitude of that is amazing . HE JUST IS!!

I realized after I pondered this fact for a while that if the scriptures would have actually added the enormous sum of greatness that would be necessary to define those two impactful words that the Bible would have tripled in size. The possibilities are infinite! You simply cannot list everything that God is!


Those 2 words are profoundly meant to be followed by whatever we need them to say, and whoever we need God to be at the time. We get to continuously fill in the blanks as needed.. There's no limit on how many chances we get to fill in those voids.. We can unceasingly call on Him. He is what we need, when we need it. He does not ever run out of supplies. He does not have to find someone else to take care of our situation. He does not have to locate a 24 repair service for us. We do not have to wait for the window between noon and five for His eventual arrival. He is never on vacation, never asleep on the job, He is not too busy with more important things, He is never too tired, too angry, too frustrated or too overwhelmed to be whatever it is we need. His customer service ranks the highest of all.. He never puts us on hold or lets our message go to voice mail." What do you need God to be today?"

(Isaiah 9:6)
His name shall be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.

When we are sad, depressed or lonesome, God is our loving, kind, edifying, friend, savior and counselor. He is our bountiful provider when we fall on hard times. God is our divine healer when we are sick. He is our mighty protector who guards us and keeps us safe and free from harm. He is the teacher that fills us with knowledge and wisdom and orders our steps. He is the architect that draws the well thought out plans for our lives . He anoints us with talents, abilities ,ease and purpose. God is the prince and author of peace! He will go to battle for us, and fight for us. He is our deliverer! He is our dwelling place, our secret safe haven of hidden security. He is our unbridled joy, He is our towering strength. He is our restored energy when we are exhausted. He is our motivator when we need encouragement. He is a shoulder to cry on and our stoic voice of reason. God is the master of miracles and the supernatural creator of everything.
He fulfills our dreams, He validates us, He is our hope and our future. God is our infallible guide on this path of life. He is the very essence of our beings and He is the definition of pure love. He is after all our Father, the great "I AM!"

Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Before Abraham was, I AM.

In Hebrews 13, The Word says that God will NEVER leave you nor forsake you. So I like to follow the words I AM with the word Here. God is here, now! Always! God is everything and anything we will ever need and He is always with us...He will never leave, never!! Imagine God being with us wherever we go, through thick and thin, through the good, the bad, the blessings and the storms. No matter what, He is there! I like to picture Him right where I need Him to be. I like to visualize him in the passenger seats of my 2 son's cars driving with them and protecting them when they are on the road. He sits with us when we are hurting, sick or sad... He is a shield of armor in the face of adversity hovering over us providing safety and His masterful protection. He follows us everywhere! He will not forsake us!! That is God's sweet promise. The Word of God does not lie! It is our personal guarantee and every word is gloriously still alive today!

(Numbers 23:19 )
God is not a man, that He should lie, nor a son of man, that He should change his mind. Does He speak and then not act? Does He promise and not fulfill?

What ever you need today, go boldly to the thrown today and call on God to be there ready and willing, wearing one of His many hats!! Let the promises of God fill your heart .God is all you will ever need, He is faithful, mighty to serve, strong and omnipotent , He has unlimited, universal power and authority over all and is perpetually by your side!!! Bask in His greatness today... He is right here....

Be strong and courageous. Do not be terrified; do not be discouraged, for the LORD your God will be with you wherever you go."

For this God is our God for ever and ever; He will be our guide even to the end.

Guard Your Thoughts By Nina. Keegan-Owens

(Isaiah 55:8-9)

"For my thoughts are not your thoughts,
neither are your ways my ways,”
declares the Lord.
"As the heavens are higher than the earth,
so are my ways higher than your ways
and my thoughts than your thoughts.


Our thoughts.... The powerful little mind invaders that endlessly wreak havoc on our subconscious. Why must we ever struggle with negative thinking at all? Our thought process can unequivocally make us or break us. Thoughts are the single most important thing that can either lead us to a blessed, wonderful, faith filled life steeped in wisdom and divine health; or in complete contrast our thought patterns can keep us caged up in the bondage of mediocracy, lack and infirmity compromising all joy and any resemblance of a peaceful existence.

I think so often we fail to realize the magnitude of consequence stemming from negative thoughts. Every negative experience you have ever faced can be traced back to your thoughts. When we think wrong, we believe wrong. When we believe wrong , we act wrong!

(2 Corinthians 10:5)
We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ and perfect will of God.

Our thoughts must indeed be held captive so they cannot overtake our lives and handcuff our futures. The Bible says our thoughts are not our own! They come from one of two sources. Good, positive, loving, thoughts are from the Lord. Every negative, sinister and evil thought that does not line up with the Word of God comes straight from the enemy himself.

The good news is, we get to make wise decisions about our thoughts. We can choose what we spend our time thinking about. We can choose what we will believe for our lives. We can change our thoughts by renewing our minds...

(Romans 12:2)
2 Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—His good, pleasing and perfect will.

The Bible says we should CAST down all thoughts that come against the perfect will of God. This requires action and faith on our parts. To cast means to throw with force, to hurl! We must recognize when we are under an attack of a mind invasion and respond immediately by casting away the wrong thought knowing that it was not a thought from God but rather a negative thought from the enemy designed to stir up tension, fear and anxiety. We can immediately replace and reinforce the negative thought with a positive thought. Negative thoughts are pure evil foreboding plots designed to veer us off track. Recognizing immediately the root of our thoughts gives us complete authority over our them. We can either allow our negative thoughts to linger and hang out while simultaneously turning our minds into a playground for the enemy or we can rid them from ourselves for good. We can banish them, rebuke them and purge them from our minds. We can replace all wrong thoughts with right thoughts. God has given you the ability to change your thinking. You can authorize what your mind dwells on. You are the CEO of your thoughts, you hold the lock and key to every thought you think. You can even terminate them for inexcusably bad behavior and negative thinking. You do not have to put up with mediocracy one more second!! The choice is yours!

(Proverbs 23:7)
As I THINK in my heart, so am I.

That is so incredibly powerful, either way
Positive or negative, what we think we become! Why then would we ever entertain a negative thought again? Henry Ford once said," If we say we can or we say we can't, either way we are right!" We must practice identifying and paying close and focused attention on what goes on in our minds! When a negative thought seeps in, we must give it no footing...
All of the, "I am not good enough, nothing good ever happens to me, I will never get well, I am not smart enough, I will never find a good job, I can never break this addiction, my marriage is a mess, school is to hard, I give up", thoughts must end! Your thoughts are a steering wheel that will turn you straight into your reality if they are not changed by the renewing of your mind.

The Bible lists the things we should spend our time focusing on. We should declare wonderful blessings, great talents, creativity, divine favor, health and wisdom over our lives everyday. We should see ourselves as victorious. We should declare that break throughs are on the way and we should be excited about the future. We must live with expectancy, peace and unspeakable joy. We must declare that even though it seems tough now, God's plan is extraordinary! He is the God of more than enough. He is the great physician, He is the great I AM! God owns everything, He can and will make a way, He can calm the storms, part the seas , heal the sick and provide for us with unlimited, immeasurable, surpassing greatness of grace and favor. That is solely what our thoughts should focus on.. The more we think positively the more our lives will follow these thoughts and change will begin to manifest!

(Philippians 4:8)
Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things.

Get in the habit of perpetual positive thinking. Guard your every thought. Get into the Word of God! Keep His words at the forefront of your thoughts. Stay away from others that try to bring you down. You know the truth! You know what God says about you regardless of what is going on around you! Put your blinders on and stay focused with your whole mind, body and soul on the favor filled path that the Lord has in store for you. Do not stray from it! Seek Him in all you do and with your entire being. Give Him the complete praise and glory as you invite Him to inhabit your mind. Relinquish it all to Him. Be renewed, refreshed and forever changed by God's unending strength and love.

(Psalm119:10)
I seek you with all my heart; do not let me stray from your commands.

( Matthew 16:23)
But Jesus turned and told Peter, "Get behind me, satin! You are an offense to me, because you are not thinking God's thoughts but human thoughts!"

In this Scripture Jesus reprimands Peter for thinking thoughts of man and not the thoughts of God. He was telling Peter that those types of negative thoughts might as well have come from satin. Learn to think like God thinks. Act like God acts. Your life will always imitate your thoughts either way!

Thank You sweet Father in Heaven that you love us so much that you will help us guard our thoughts and stay focused on all you have done for us. Thank you that we can think like you think and believe for great blessings and favor in our lives. Help us to think God like thoughts! We love and praise you in Jesus name !
