But God

BUT GOD....HE WILL USE YOUR TRIAL FOR GOOD!

As for you, you meant evil against me, BUT GOD meant it for good...  (Genesis 50:20)

There are few experiences in life that are more universal than disappointment.

Several years ago I walked through the most difficult of personal trials I have ever experienced, and for what it's worth I have been through a lot... Suffice it to say  if I were to write my autobiography it would most likely read like a fictional novel because my story is quite unbelievable.

I know sadly that I am not unique in any way to gut wrenching trials and all too often we all suffer tribulation that takes us to our knees and beckons us to go so much deeper in our faith. Through broken promises, unfulfilled expectations, and shattered dreams we are invited to a place that without the turmoil we would never know the enormity of the Lord's pure sweetness. Is this not the very reason for a trial?

This trial in my life that blew in like an unexpected thunder storm on a sunny day, has been so profoundly lined with such close parallels of the bitter sweet. The closeness and the presence of God have never been more absolute, miraculous and so supernatural; while simultaneously the blindsided feelings of betrayal, abandonment, and rejection have achingly pierced my very soul.

Hurt, pain, lies and mistrust can level our lives and can change our worlds in an instant. This life.... It can certainly throw us a curve ball and cause you to want shout,"I quit, I'm done, I'm out... I GIVE UP!"
But... Yes there's a  but... BUT GOD, yes there it is," BUT GOD," those 6 letters that can change ashes into beauty. They arrest me in my tracks, penetrating my self righteous, pity party and they command me to NEVER GIVE UP!  They cast a profound shadow and ignite the flame of my sorrow to be a light. Those words reel me back in, stretch my faith, strengthen me, guide me, hold me and bring me to my knees in abundant thanksgiving and paralyzing praise.  My eyes as if with blinders on stare straight ahead in laser focus on my very Creator in whom I can always trust with confident expectancy and hope.

 The ampleness of comfort
He shows us when we are downtrodden goes unsurpassed in comparison. He does not ever waste anything but contrarily He will use our pain as a catalyst and a testimony to demonstrate His love and tenderness. He is so close to the brokenhearted, never have I known anything to be more sure or more absolute than this.

The vastness of what I have learned about my heavenly Father's character, love, faithfulness and ultimate devotion to His children is nothing short of  miraculous. His glory is beyond measure. We can and will have what our faith expects. God will meet us at our level of expectancy.

In our fleshy sorrows we utter, But God where are you?
But God, why are you allowing this?
But God, it hurts so much.  But God, if you loved me then why oh Lord am I having to suffer like this?
Those are the questions we frantically pour out as we lobby, and litigate on a quest for answers better than any high priced, ivy league lawyer ever could.

Faith is what we cannot see! What we must remember ...

 But God...

But God will never leave you or forsake you!
But God will turn all things around for your good!
But God is a good and just God and He longs to pour out His blessings on us.
But God knows your suffering and your pain and wants to comfort you.
But God knows who's hurt you and He will rescue you.
But God's plan is immeasurably more than we could ever ask or imagine, wait on Him BE STILL.. And know without hesitation that He is GOD!
But God...yes He is here.. Always....winning all of our battles!

I have seen Him supernaturally fight on my behalf. He has led me to the scriptures outlining what His brilliant plans are for me and how He intends to deal with the one who has hurt me.

"We must never worry about the judgement of the Godless." He warns, as He wants us to keep our eyes steadfast on Him alone. God's wrath far outweighs any vengence we could ever seek. We must forgive in the measure He has forgiven us and leave the punishment to God. God does not lie and His word will hold true for the obedient and disobedient alike. He is no respecter of persons. We can count on His word, He is not a God that should lie!

I know that as He has led me through it all, He has drawn me closer and not allowed me to look back at the treachery He has rescued me from. We must always look ahead to where HE is. Seek His face first. We as Christians are called  to a higher standard of love, we must FORGIVE our enemies. Let the scab heal, move on and set the example. He will take care of the rest! His promises are glorious, unfailing and divine in truth.

We need to wholeheartedly trust and lay claim to the nearness of God, cling to His character and believe He is who He says He is.
His will for us is Holy, perfect and unchanging. We must always let His Word trump our emotions.

We will never be where God is not!
 NEVER!

He is closer than our breath! Walk valiantly through the trials of life knowing that Heaven's army will never let the righteous fall and that the blessings on the back side of obedience are enormous.

He's Got this, you're going to be OK!  You really are...It's not going to be easy, it's not going to be painless! Things will change! It will get better! Joy is on the way! Let His praises always be on your lips!... BUT GOD!! You make everything glorious!!

Job 36:17 But you are too obsessed with judgment on the godless. Don't worry, justice will be upheld!

Psalm 44:7-8
But you will give us victory over our enemies and we will praise your name forever

Psalm 38:18.
The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.

Binding in Him

GOD BINDS HIMSELF TO HIS WORD!
God wants us to mature in Him..  we are all His children.. and like all parents God watches us grow up, He wants us to mature in Him!
In Hebrews 6:1
It says "so let us stop going over the basic teachings about Christ again and again... let us go on instead and become mature in our understanding, surely we do not need to start again with fundamental importance of repenting of evil deeds and placing our faith in God...
In verse three it says .."and so, God willing, we will move forward to further understanding..."
I pray daily that great would be my understanding of all things of God... When we read His Word, let's ask God to show us great and mighty things through His Word that He wants us to know ...things that we do not yet know... knowledge that we need to overcome all evil!

While Jesus was here on earth, He set about doing God's work..He offered prayers,Did great healing's ..comforted the hurting.. and He had a deep reverence for God. God heard his prayers and because of this deep reverence and love , Jesus walked in the supernatural power of his Father.

As Jesus is in the world  ...so are we! 1 John 4:17

In order for us to grow from infant Christians to mature Christians, we must learn discernment. We must have a great reverence and believe in the power of the Holy Spirit in us. We must train ourselves, our senses, our mind and our body to distinguish good from evil. We must learn to recognize any evil and any temptation before it traps us.

Life as a Christian is a process. The Bible talks about starting off as babies on milk and eventually growing into solid food ...(the mighty Word of God and it's fullness in all truth).
Too often we want God's full banquet before we are spiritually and thoroughly capable fully digesting it.

Mature Christians should be digesting the word and acting it out, be a doer of the word. We must understand and know that we can and should be walking in the supernatural and doing the things Jesus died for us to be able to do.
We can receive the anointing through salvation and through understanding what's ours in the word of God and claim these promises to heal the sick... to receive the fullness of all joy and peace… To be set free from every besetting sin and stronghold of addiction.

As Christians we should be walking in the demonstration of God's power ... and we should be living examples of his perfect will for us!

In Hebrews 6 verse 18 it says that God has given both his promise and his oath it says that God BOUND himself to this oath ...that means it is unchangeable!
And when we BIND ourselves TO GOD , then we too can be immovable and unshakable in Him. we too can be BOUND TO THAT SAME OATH!

God is the ANCHOR of our souls..

This hope that we have in him is strong and trustworthy...
Because that's who HE is..strong and trustworthy! God's oath is as good as his name! God's name is as good as his divine nature..!

Let's pray for strength and for maturity in Him..Let us Bind ourselves to the word of God and pray for a great understanding of the mysteries of his will for our lives. Let's seek the promised abundance of his perfect truth, let's let the word of God Pierce our hearts and our souls as we step out in supernatural faith to glorify God in all we do!!!

Do not be a Christian in name only. Make sure your life bears great fruit. God is very just and he never forgets or overlooks our hard work when we seek him first and glorify his name in all we do!

May you be abundantly blessed!

Hebrews 5:11-14NLT
A Call to Spiritual Growth
11 There is much more we would like to say about this, but it is difficult to explain, especially since you are spiritually dull and don’t seem to listen. 12 You have been believers so long now that you ought to be teaching others. Instead, you need someone to teach you again the basic things about God’s word.[a] You are like babies who need milk and cannot eat solid food. 13 For someone who lives on milk is still an infant and doesn’t know how to do what is right. 14 Solid food is for those who are mature, who through training have the skill to recognize the difference between right and wrong.

Hebrews 6:1-3New Living Translation (NLT)
6 So let us stop going over the basic teachings about Christ again and again. Let us go on instead and become mature in our understanding. Surely we don’t need to start again with the fundamental importance of repenting from evil deeds[a]and placing our faith in God. 2 You don’t need further instruction about baptisms, the laying on of hands, the resurrection of the dead, and eternal judgment. 3 And so, God willing, we will move forward to further understanding.
Hebrews 7:17
God also BOUND  himself with an oath so that those who receive the promise could be perfectly sure that he would never change his mind

Let God write your story...

LET GOD WRITE YOUR STORY ...Life has always been meant to be a collaboration with God.

We were never meant to go it alone… It seems to me that often times in the Bible, God would lead people to go somewhere or do something without them knowing the big picture.. He would just say "go"...many times God doesn't want us to know the whole story, it might be too much for us to handle all at once… We would see the impossibilities of what God is asking us to do
And we would not see how completely possible it is because it is of God… If he said it...then he will do it, if it's his plan, then he will make a way….. many times just one word is all we need.. it's all we can handle.. we don't have to know everything… God is calling us to simply trust him!

We don't have to be perfect God just wants and loves obedience… When I was reading in Romans about Abraham… God's promise was to give the whole earth to him and his descendants, this promise was not based on obedience to God's law but on a right relationship with God himself..and that comes by faith. If God's promise is only for those who obey the law, then faith is not necessary and promises are pointless. In Romans 4 :16 -17
it says,
So the promise is received by faith. It is given as a free gift. And we are all certain to receive it, whether or not we live according to the law of Moses, if we have faith like Abrahams. For Abraham is the father of all who believe. That is what the Scriptures mean when God told him, "I have made you father of many nations."This happened because Abraham believed in the God who brings the dead back to life and who creates new things out of nothing.

Even when there was no reason for hope, Abraham kept hoping, believing that he would become the father of many nations. For God said to him .."that's how many descendent you will have.."and Abrahams faith did not weaken even though at about 100 years of age, he figured his body was as good as dead and so was Sara's womb.
But Abraham never wavered and believed in God's promise in fact,

His faith grew stronger!

Just think about how strong your faith must be when you are surrounded by complete and utter impossibilities on every level concerning the promise over your life... how was it that he was able to see past all of that and stay focused on the promise of God?
Friends it's time for us to take the leap into a new deeper level of faith in God… We can learn to navigate gray in a black-and-white world!
We don't have to hold the entire blueprint in our hand… Step out hand-in-hand with our Lord... He will never leave you or for sake you!!
One small step at a time… Have faith, trust Him!

Abraham never doubted that God would fulfill his promise. Abraham's life was marked by mistakes, sins, and failures as well as by wisdom and goodness, but he consistently trusted God. His faith was strengthened by the obstacles he faced ..and his life was an example of faith in action.
If he had only looked at what his own resources were... he would've been faced with only absolute impossibility's and complete despair. But Abraham looked to God, obeyed him, and waited for God to fulfill his word, his brilliant promise.

Faith is in what we cannot see… If we knew the whole picture start to finish of what God wants us to do, we would deem it impossible before we ever took a step… we would give up before we ever even started ....That's why we are only allowed to see in part and we are only given small instructions to follow at a time… Yes life is a collaboration with God
We mustn't ever rely on our own understanding..but just keep taking small steps in the right direction, 1 foot in front of the other in obedience… That's all it takes… Just get up and get moving… Through that simple act of obedience God will lead you and guide you… It's like God will drop the breadcrumbs on the trail all we have to do is follow them…
We don't have to know everything before we start our journeys..we just need to know that if God said it...then it will be glorious and he will do exceedingly abundantly more than we could ever ask or think.

Faith will always bring joy, the Bible says in Romans 5, therefore, since we have been made right in God's site by faith, we have peace with God because of what Jesus Christ our Lord has done for us. Because of our faith, Christ has brought us into this place of undeserved privilege where we now stand, and we confidently and joyfully look forward to sharing God's glory. We can rejoice when we run into problems and trials, for we know that they help us develop endurance. And endurance develops strength of character and character strengthens our confident hope of salvation.

This hope will not lead to disappointment.

For we know how dearly God loves us, because he has given us the Holy Spirit to fill our hearts with his love.

We can now be at peace with God ...peace with God means that we have been reconciled with him, there's no more sin blocking a relationship with him, peace with God is possible only because Jesus already paid the price through death on the cross...
Let the Holy Spirit be your guide, let the collaboration
form as we become completely dependent on our wonderful Lord for everything we need, he will give us all things we need pertaining to life and godliness, his plan is so much better than any plan we could ever think up.

We were once weak and helpless because we could do nothing on our own to save ourselves...
Christ came at exactly the right time in history according to God's own schedule. God controls all history and he controls the timing, the messages and the events surrounding Jesus' life ....while we were all yet sinners, God sent his son to die for us not because we were good enough, but just because he loved us!

Whenever you feel uncertain about God's love for you,and his plan for your life, remember that he already loved you and had a plan for your life before you ever even knew him...
Let his love for you through the Holy Spirit guide you every day.. that same power that raised Christ from the dead has saved you and is available to you in your daily life… As God's children , we reserve the power and the love to call on our Lord and Savior each day to help meet every challenge or trial or need!

Remember life is a collaboration we have all we need.. grab a hold of God's hand and fly!

And my God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus. | Philippians 4:19

Beloved, do not be surprised at the fiery trial when it comes upon you to test you, as though something strange were happening to you. | 1 Peter 4:12

Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, as God in Christ forgave you. | Ephesians 4:32

Bless those who persecute you; bless and do not curse them. | Romans 12:14

But God shows his love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. | Romans 5:8

But in your hearts honor Christ the Lord as holy, always being prepared to make a defense to anyone who asks you for a reason for the hope that is in you; yet do it with gentleness and respect. | 1 Peter 3:15

But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly of my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may rest upon me. | 2 Corinthians 12:9

Consequently, he is able to save to the uttermost those who draw near to God through him, since he always lives to make intercession for them. Hebrews 7:25

Decree for blessings and favor

Here is the decree that I have been declaring out loud for everyone who needs prayer… Something good to say over yourself,  family, and circumstances every day… Everything I've been studying, has been about the blessing and favor how those 2 go hand-in-hand and are almost always spoken of together in the the Bible...

"Through the covenant I have with Jesus Christ comes a great blessing.. The blessing is an empowerment on my life, giving me the ability to prosper to succeed ,to heal ,to increase ,to multiply ,to excel, and rise above everything that attempts to hold me back and keep me down ..God's favor goes before me, anointing and appointing and bringing direction and protection. It opens up the doors that no man can shut ..it changes things favorably on my behalf. It protects, guides, restores, heals, and brings wisdom, knowledge, and understanding… I declare that we walk continuously in God's favor and His perfect peace and undisturbed composure….
Father, your favor, can and will do what power, money, seniority, and influence can't do..I declare that I am blessed to be a blessing, and will be used powerfully in the hands of the Lord… I cover myself and my family and all that need a touch of your favor today Father..in Jesus name, and I seal this prayer in the powerful healing, delivering blood of Jesus Christ!

Love you guys

17 May the favor of the Lord our God rest on us; establish the work of our hands for us— yes, establish the work of our hands.

33 The LORD’s curse is on the house of the wicked, but he blesses the home of the righteous.
34 He mocks proud mockers but shows favor to the humble and oppressed.
35 The wise inherit honor, but fools get only shame.

11 For the LORD God is a sun and shield; the LORD bestows favor and honor; no good thing does he withhold from those whose walk is blameless.

But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.
