God wants you healed by Nina Keegan

Be healed in every way!

Peter Heals a Crippled Beggar

Peter and John went to the Temple one afternoon to take part in the three o’clock prayer service. As they approached the Temple, a man lame from birth was being carried in. Each day he was put beside the Temple gate, the one called the Beautiful Gate, so he could beg from the people going into the Temple. When he saw Peter and John about to enter, he asked them for some money.

Peter and John looked at him intently, and Peter said, “Look at us!” The lame man looked at them eagerly, expecting some money. But Peter said, “I don’t have any silver or gold for you. But I’ll give you what I have. In the name of Jesus Christ the Nazarene,[a] get up and[b] walk!”

Then Peter took the lame man by the right hand and helped him up. And as he did, the man’s feet and ankles were instantly healed and strengthened. He jumped up, stood on his feet, and began to walk! Then, walking, leaping, and praising God, he went into the Temple with them.

All the people saw him walking and heard him praising God. 10 When they realized he was the lame beggar they had seen so often at the Beautiful Gate, they were absolutely astounded!11 They all rushed out in amazement to Solomon’s Colonnade, where the man was holding tightly to Peter and John.

There's so many things that I want to  point out about this wonderful and remarkable story of healing… One is that the gate to the temple was called the Beautiful gate… That in and of itself is such a reminder of when we enter a place of praise we are entering into a beautiful time with the Lord… Worship and praise is where God lives, the Bible says God inhabits the praises of his people…

Next, I love that the man who was lame and sat at the temple gate for years and years just hoping to get some money .. He was a beggar and that is how he survived. But when the name of Jesus was declared, everything changed!

I wonder if he often thought that begging was his only hope of survival… I wonder if he ever thought that his life could ever be any different… Did he just accept that that was his lot in life..?

How many times do we think that we have to do it all on our own.. Do we forget the ONE who holds the keys to the kingdom and wants to bless us?

Do we even believe in miracles, or do we only have enough faith to believe in the minuscule, barely get by answers to prayers?

I'm sure this man has always felt like such an outsider I'm sure at times he felt sorry for himself…i'm sure he never thought of his life any other way.

He was asking for money that day ..he was asking for something small, just whatever they could spare so that he could just scrape by… I  love that when Peter said," I don't have silver or gold for you but I'll give you what I have! "

We all HAVE it... the power of the Holy Spirit lives in us… How many times do we settle and just pray a barely get by prayer when God wants to bless us powerfully and he wants to give us exceedingly abundantly more than we could ask or think…eph 3:20

When we walk in a life that is focused on Jesus… The outcome is a life better than we could've ever hoped for as Christians. God just doesn't want to give us the scraps, we ask Him to solve small problems.. and in the way we think they need to be solved.., our thinking is so limited, but God our Father, wants to give us a whole new life transformed by the power of his love…

Our Lives can be completely transformed when we submit to God… He wants us to have and enjoy life here and now… The best is always yet to come, and our latter rain is always going to be so much greater than our former rain… He wants us transformed from glory to glory… He's always got something better for us ..We may ask God for what we want, but God surprises us and gives us what we truly need!

When the lame man was healed, he began to jump around praising God… Then all of the towns people were astonished by God's love and power… We must never forget to thank those who have helped us and always give God glory and praise for all things… When we pray, remember who you are praying too… Our faith should never be in our prayers, but in the ONE who answers them… If you've been waiting for your victory, for your answered prayers for a long time.. Just remember that God has perfect timing… Declare victory, begin to live Victory  minded!

Ask big, think big, pray big, because we serve a big God!

Do not waver but believe! God wants to give you more than you could've ever dreamed of!

Through the faith in the power of that name .. the name of JESUS, that man was healed! He was made free indeed!

Believe that God can heal anything that needs to be healed! Your health, your marriage, your finances, your relationships, your children, your addictions, your emotions, your anxiety, your fears,… What do you need? God has already sent the healer!! His name is Jesus!!!

BELIEVE IT!

Receive it today! Praying God's divine healing for all that you need right now in Jesus name!

Get in the presence of God by Nina Keegan

Psalm 27

The Lord is my light and my salvation so why should I be afraid? The Lord is my fortress, protecting me from danger so why should I tremble? When evil people come to devour me, when my enemies and foes attack me, they will stumble and fall though a mighty army surrounds me, my heart will not be afraid even if I am attacked, I will remain confident. The one thing I ask the Lord, the thing I seek the most, is to live in the house of the Lord all the days of my life, delighting in the Lord's perfections and meditating in his temple.

For whom shall I be afraid?
Fear… This is such a big one for so many people… Really, in a nutshell, fear is just failing to trust God, it's when we take our eyes off Jesus and walk outside of the presence of God....
We can conquer all fears by completely trusting in the Lord who brings peace and ultimate salvation. We can always dispel darkness by knowing that the Lord is our light and our salvation!

David the Psalmist poured his heart out in ways that many of us can relate to… we can hear his heart being poured out through all of the Psalms but one thing that was completely evident is that David's greatest desire was to practice living in the presence of God each and every day of his life… The presence of God is where miracles happen… when we practice the presence of God, we are positioning of ourselves to receive answers, blessings, and miracles from God!
God inhabits the praises of his people, when we are in the presence of God, when we seek Him with our whole hearts… The enemy runs…

We mustn't just run to God when we are experiencing difficulties in our lives.. we must practice being in God's presence every single day… Then we are fortified and ready with God's presence and we are prepared to handle any test or any trouble or fear that comes our way… By only trusting and calling on God when trouble comes, we are void of the wonderful loving relationship, fellowship, and the anointing that comes from living a life stayed upon God's presence… So many of life's  trials and problems could be completely avoided by seeking  God's help, his wisdom, and his direction before hand!

Many times fear comes in through that old broken record and old message and lie from the past… those old hurts, the old pains that linger… God wants to fill that void and heal all of those past hurts… His love is sufficient … And the Bible says in Psalm 27:13

"Yet I am confident that I will see the goodness of the Lord here in the land of the living…"

The land of the living means this life… It means the lives we are living now… Here and now… So even if we are going through a trial right now, we must be confident in the fact that even as we pray, in this present life, God will always see us through it all!

Psalm 28:6
Praise the Lord! For he has heard my cry for mercy. The Lord is my strength and shield. I trust him with all my heart. He helps me, and my heart is filled with joy. I burst out in songs of Thanksgiving. The Lord gives his people strength. He is a safe fortress for his anointed king.

Let's get in the presence of God… Let's cast our cares and give him all our fears, worries, and hurts… Let's bask in his perfect love which casts out all fear... God can and will perfect every concern we have!!

God bless you all!!

God is at work on your behalf..

 GOD IS AT WORK
Lately I feel the Lord leading me to read Habakkuk … I encourage you all to read this short and wonderful book. It's filled with brilliant wisdom and insight!
It really coincides with what is going on in our nation and world today… Isn't it amazing how the Bible, The  holy Word of God, is always alive and current, and every bit as relevant for us today! God is so brilliant!

The book of Habakkuk  starts off with a cry for help… ( it's actually Habakkuk 's complaint)
He complains that there is evil deeds everywhere, destruction, violence, corruption, he continues to state that they are surrounded by people who love to argue and fight and that the law has become paralyzed and there's no justice in the courts and the wicked seem too far outnumber the righteous and that the justice have become very perverted… It was an essential cry for help and a plea to the Lord to do something about what was going on at the time.

God does want us to come to Him with our struggles and our doubts.. His answers may not be exactly what we expect ...however, God will sustain us! He gives us revelations as we rely on and trust Him.  God can lead us into a quiet hope not a bitter resignation!

We mustn't grow weary in well doing… No matter what you were standing on, no matter what you are praying for, do not wave the white flag…We mustn't give the devil a foot hold… It may look impossible in the natural but the good news is we serve a supernatural God… The God of miracles!

God is still in control of this world in spite of the apparent triumph of evil… Top to bottom… From big worldly problems, to problems in our own homes, God does not overlook sin and one day He will rule the whole earth with perfect justice... We must stand strong and wait for the shifting in the heavenly realms to come against all evil deeds and schemes. His ways are so much better than our ways…
Prepare your heart, repent, turn from any besetting sin... call on the name of Jesus and make him Lord!

Habakkuk1:5-6
The Lord's reply to the above complaint:
"Look around at the nations, look and be amazed for I am doing something in your day, something you wouldn't believe even if someone told you about it!"

Hallelujah! What a response!

Even hearing this though, Habakkuk had a second complaint…

He asks the Lord if he's going to wink at their treachery and why he is so silent while the wicked swallow up the righteous people… He asks if the Lord is planning to wipe out his people because of their evil..?
He pleads and asks if the Lord will let them get away with things forever, will they succeed in their heartless conquests..?

Doesn't it always seem like we can get into that place where we think the devil is winning.. The problem with this is we are just agreeing with what the enemy is doing… We are essentially giving up and letting evil win… God could change everything in one second if he wanted to… But sometimes there's things he's doing behind the scenes in wanting to change the hearts of man..
God's ways are not our ways… His ways are perfect!

The Lord replies a second time!

Don't you just love this? God is so patient even with our complaining and our whining, He understands that we are human and that we are hurting..

Habakkuk 2:1-5
The Lord's second reply....

" Write my answers plainly on tablets so that a runner can carry the correct message to others. The vision is for a future time, it describes the end and it will be fulfilled. If it seems slow in coming wait patiently, though it will surely take place and it will not be delayed. Look at the proud! They trust in themselves, and their lives are crooked. But the righteous will live by their faithfulness to God.

Habakkuk 2:14
For as the water fills the sea, the earth will be filled with an awareness of the glory of the Lord!

We must just stand and know that God, absolutely 100%, knows what  He is doing concerning all things that concern us… His timing is perfect, our prayers will not return void, He turns all things around for the good, and no weapon ever formed against us shall prosper… We must keep proclaiming, and standing on, and declaring the Word and we mustn't give the enemy a foothold!
Keep praying, keep believing, and stand watching God be God!… Do not let the negative news of the day or the enemies lies or what you can see with your physical eyes get in the way of what God is doing… Faith is in what we cannot see!… Trust the process! TRUST GOD! … Over and over again in the Bible victories happened in "then suddenly" moments that could not have been foreseen!

Overwhelming victory is ours in Jesus Christ!

Psalm 62:1
1 I wait quietly before God, for my victory comes from him

 - But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew [their] strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; [and] they shall walk, and not faint.

Psalms 37:7-9 - Rest in the LORD, and wait patiently for him: fret not thyself because of him who prospereth in his way, because of the man who bringeth wicked devices to pass.

 - I wait for the LORD, my soul doth wait, and in his word do I hope.

Psalms 25:4-5 - Shew me thy ways, O LORD; teach me thy paths.

 - For the vision [is] yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry.

 - Wait on the LORD, and keep his way, and he shall exalt thee to inherit the land: when the wicked are cut off, thou shalt see [it].

You can't hide by Nina Keegan

Isaiah 29:15-16
And what sorrow awaits those who try to hide their plans from the Lord, who do their evil deeds in the dark! "The Lord can't see us they say." "He doesn't know what's going on!" How foolish can you be? He is the potter, and He is certainly greater than you, the Clay!
Should the created things say of the one who made it, "he didn't make me"? Does a jar ever say, "the potter who made me is stupid"?

It's amazing to me that the people of Jerusalem often were thinking that God couldn't see them and didn't know what was happening… They thought they could hide their secret plans from God. How audacious and strange is it that so many people actually think they can hide from God?

Psalm 139 explains and teaches us that God has examined our hearts and He knows absolutely everything about us. God made you, God put his own imprint on you, you were knit together in your mother's  womb!… You were made and pre-destined with a divine purpose and plan in Christ!

Think about what you're thinking about... Would you be embarrassed if your family members or your friends knew all of your personal thoughts? Remember that God knows every single one of them...

So let's be deliberate in our thoughts, let's cast down all thoughts and imaginations that go against the word of God… Let's have our hearts pure before Him… Let's remember that from the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks… Every evil action begins with a thought… Let's ask the Holy Spirit to help us realign our thoughts with the word of God… Let's get rid of all "stinking thinking!"
Let's resist the enemy at the onset
and refuse to pick up the negativity, complaining, foreboding thoughts and the temptations he puts in front of us.
The Bible says that God will always give us a way out… When we pray, God sends all of heaven to help us… It is God's will for us to always draw closer and closer to Him, and when we do this, we will understand Him and His divine will for us and His merciful, loving thoughts for us, and ultimately we will begin to think on these things…

We must catch ourselves in the act of negative thinking… The devil would love to put a constant barrage of negative thoughts in our heads.. The temptation for evil, gossip, lying… He would like us to wander away from our victories on a pathway of distraction and ultimately destruction!
Let's always remember that God knows every thought we have.. that He knows the secret plans of the enemy to thwart His plans for us.

When we seek God with our whole hearts, minds and souls, when we praise Him with Thanksgiving and when we repent of all evil… We can be ready with our armor on to overcome the evil deeds of the enemy.

One way of overcoming our negative thoughts is by taking note of your thoughts for a whole day. Every time a negative thought repeats itself and begins to take hold in your mind,  redirect it with the word of God..the truth found in God's Word. Write down these Bible verses and put them plainly where you can see them, read them, and declare them so you can remind yourself of the truth of God's word and His love for you! Remember as the mind thinks the man follows.. So let's let our minds follow the good and perfect will of God!

When we trust God, He causes even the wayward to gain great understanding and the complainers to accept His instruction
Isaiah 29:24

The humble will be filled with fresh joy from the Lord and the blind will see through the gloom and darkness, the scoffer will be gone, and the arrogant will disappear and all those who plot evil will be killed. Those who convict the innocent by their false testimony will disappear. A similar fate awaits those who use trickery to pervert justice and who tell lies to destroy the innocent.
Isaiah 29:18-21

Behold our redeemer  lives!
Let's worship and praise Him and let's seek Him and His ways and His great understanding in all things and He will make our crooked places straight and our paths secure!

Isaiah 29:6
I, the Lord of heaven's armies, will act for you with thunder and earthquake and great noise, with world wind and storm and consuming fire.

Philippians 4:8-9

Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is commendable, if there is any excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think about these things. What you have learned and received and heard and seen in me—practice these things, and the God of peace will be with you.

1 Peter 5:8

Be sober-minded; be watchful. Your adversary the devil prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour.

Luke 6:37

“Judge not, and you will not be judged; condemn not, and you will not be condemned; forgive, and you will be forgiven;

Proverbs 3:5-6

Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths.

2 Corinthians 10:4-5

For the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh but have divine power to destroy strongholds. We destroy arguments and every lofty opinion raised against the knowledge of God, and take every thought captive to obey Christ,

Total Surrender by Nina Keegan

Total surrender!!
What does ultimate and complete surrender to the Lord actually look like?… Oh what an amazing thing this could be if we could actually reach and achieve this level of surrender. Of course we can do all things through the love and help and the strength of our loving Father… When we take our selves out of the equation, and completely understand that apart from God we can do nothing… Then we can begin to walk in complete surrender!

When we pray, if we truly know and fully understand that God could change things whenever He wanted to, therefore, after praying we should give it no further thought… That's what complete surrender looks like.

If we really knew and understood that when we leave our prayer requests with God, the One who causes all things to be, the One in whom all things are possible,… Then we can walk confidently knowing that God's got our prayers and the answers to them… That He purposefully inclines his ear to hear us ..and if we know He hears us, and we know that apart from Him we can do nothing… Then if we understand this and completely surrender all things to Him… Why would we ever worry?

We cannot do anything unless God enables us… So we can, and should always ask God to help us receive more sufficient strength so that we can be completely surrendering all things to the Lord.

If we relate to God in this greatest simplicity, child like faith, and having a knowledge of his grace and give it all to God in real time by praying continually and about all things… Then we can walk in God's perfect and ultimate peace!

Our whole lives should be continual relationships with God… No matter what we're doing… Do it all for the Lord… Do things with the spirit of excellence through the lens of God's perfect love. By being in a complete, and communal relationship with our Heavenly Father, then we can go about our days knowing who He is and feeling His joy and His peace even in the most mundane of things.

If we think that we have to follow some rules or do things right or we've sinned too much, then we are ultimately allowing a religious spirit to rule over us and to stop us from believing that God truly loves us unconditionally.

We must completely recognize that God is always present, His assistance will never fail us and He is never not with us… We must understand His will.. seek that!  We can offer everything to Him before we do it ...and give Him thanks after we have finished.. this is the communion we should have with our loving Father… our days should be naturally, supernatural… Because we have the Holy Spirit living in us… We have a constant guide to teach us the ways to go and how to do all things by Grace!

Praise, worship, and continued prayer purely for the love of God not because we need something!
When we can walk in this kind of surrender… we will walk in peace!  In difficult times we need only to turn immediately to Christ and ask for his grace to cover over our concerns… This can divert us from worry to peace just by understanding the awareness of God…
That unending Grace can give us strength to bear whatever we are facing, therefore we should fear nothing knowing that God is never not available to us and He will never leave us or for sake us…
God would never deceive us… and when our souls are perfectly surrendered to Him and when we are committed to endure all things for His sake… God will surely and wholeheartedly supply his absolute love, grace, and sufficiency to cover over us in every situation…

When we fail to surrender and we walk in worry and fear… We are essentially walking void of understanding God's love for us…
Many times we fail to accept this love because we cannot accept the fact that ALL of our sins have been forgiven by the power of the blood of Jesus!
When we can fully understand this, we are free to seek only to love Him with all our hearts and then we can take comfort in the fact that He gives us the greatest grace through this greatest surrender… These are powerful signs of his great mercy…

God is worried about nothing, fears nothing...And if we are to be seated in heavenly places with Jesus at the right hand of our Father accompanied by the complete intercession of Jesus… Then are not  fear and worry just simply lies that are coming from the absence of receiving the complete love of God?

We mustn't beat ourselves up when we sin… But we must repent and turn away and then know that God has given us a grace to walk freely… It's through this love and grace that we receive that makes us want to do better, that makes us want to faithfully reject every thought that leads to sin and to live wholeheartedly for God.

The trust  we put in God completely and fully honor Him greatly and ultimately draws down great blessings.

Let's walk with a complete awareness and a fresh remembrance that God is always present.. let's let his presence consume us… Let's keep our eyes completely focused on the love and the power of Jesus Christ… Therefore we should fear nothing!

All things are possible to those who believe.. they are much less difficult to those who hope . And they are easier to those who love. And they are absolutely easiest to those who persevere in the practice of all of these virtues!

Surrender all!
And let God's grace take you to new levels in the understanding of his perfect love… God bless you all❤️

Job 11:13

“If you would direct your heart right
And spread out your hand to Him,

Romans 6:13

and do not go on presenting the members of your body to sin as instruments of unrighteousness; but present yourselves to God as those alive from the dead, and your members as instruments of righteousness to God.

Galatians 2:20

I have been crucified with Christ; and it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself up for me.

Matthew 16:24-25
Then Jesus said to His disciples, “If anyone wishes to come after Me, he must deny himself, and take up his cross and follow Me. For whoever wishes to save his life will lose it; but whoever loses his life for My sake will find it.

BELIEVE Gods Word by Nina Keegan

I cannot tell you all enough how important it is to watch our words… The power of life and death are in our tongues… Speak life… The Bible tells us this. Our words have so much power,  we have to remember that the enemy is not omnipresent, he is not omniscient, but he does know what we say about ourselves
and our situations.. When we declare negativity, defeat, and believe the lies he's throwing at us… We are essentially giving him license to take those negative words and run with them .. As the mind thinks the man follows!
It takes a thought to heal a thought!
Be so careful what you speak and what you are thinking about… Resist the enemy at the onset..
LET’S  STOP GIVING THE ENEMY A “TO DO”LIST ...The enemy is very limited in his bag of tricks… He can only use what we have given him license and freedom to use… When we speak and declare negative things over our own lives, we have essentially given him the freedom to have his way concerning our situation… When we say things like “my marriage will never be restored, my children will never serve the Lord, I am always broke, nothing good ever happens to me” we are declaring  the enemies stamp on our lives... When we profess these negative affirmations, the enemy has a field day… But to the contrast, when we praise God ,when we declare victory over the enemy and his schemes by the power and the blood of JESUS..We will win…!!! Turn your words around and start declaring the word of God over your life… At the name of Jesus the enemy has to flee!

No weapon formed against us can ever prosper! Isaiah 54:17

God inhabits the praises of his people… psalm 22:3

Matthew 18:18-20 - Verily I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever ye shall loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.

 - And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth.

 - Let every soul be subject unto the higher powers. For there is no power but of God: the powers that be are ordained of God.

 - Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world.

 - Obey them that have the rule over you, and submit yourselves: for they watch for your souls, as they that must give account, that they may do it with joy, and not with grief: for that [is] unprofitable for you.

 - Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.

2 Corinthians 10:3-5 - For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh:

 - My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me:

Praise is God’s address, it’s where He lives!!!
Let’s speak life, let’s stop giving the enemy a to do list!!!

The robe of righteousness by Nina Keegan

Put on your robe of righteousness!

Isaiah 61:10
New Living Translation
I am overwhelmed with joy in the LORD my God! For he has dressed me with the clothing of salvation and draped me in a robe of righteousness. I am like a bridegroom dressed for his wedding or a bride with her jewels.

I was led to read Isaiah 61 today… Line after line it seems like it could be pulled straight out of the headlines of today's newspapers… Sometimes it seems like we are living in an upside down world..

The Bible talks about a time when evil is good and good is evil...

This is exactly where we are right now… There are days I'm sure that we all look at the news and think our jaws cannot drop open any further..  We often ask ourselves, how is this all happening?… And in the United States of America?… Then we must remember that God is not surprised by any of it…

I will post Isaiah 61 in it's entirety at the bottom of this devotion…Read it line by line and see how it mirrors what is going on all around us today…But, it is also filled with promises!… Gods always gives us hope.. Beauty for ashes, and a way out.. we must remember that God is not the author of confusion... I want to remind everyone as stated in the scripture above that we, as believers,
will be covered in a beautiful robe of righteousness… What does that mean exactly?… I believe the robe of righteousness is one of these beautiful things that we will receive in place of the ashes .. every promise in the Bible is true for every one of us!

Imagine this beautifully designed, supernatural robe of the finest fabrics and beautiful threading… I'm sure it will be very ornate… But spiritually speaking what will it have?… Righteousness!… We all have the righteousness of God in Christ… And that means final deliverance!… This means being completely free from all things that have kept us in bondage…. But,  I also believe that tucked into the many deeply lined pockets of this robe of righteousness and lovingly hand stitched into the beautiful hem of this amazing cloak, we will find pockets loaded down with divine health,… prosperity, peace that surpasses all understanding… Complete joy!… Overwhelming victory!… Emotional healing! ... Let's believe that there is a pocket for each of us that contains the secret desires of our hearts!… When God restores He multiplies!
Let's all step out and reach for this beautiful robe of righteousness… Let us put on this marvelous robe lined with wisdom and pockets overflowing with favor and blessings… revival, restoration and joy...and let's wear it as over-comers .. Because that's who we through the blood of the lamb and the words of our testimony!   WE WILL OVERCOME! ...Undoubtedly declare that God is still God and He still has an amazing plan for our lives!… We will see the goodness of the Lord here in the land of the living!… Let's all stand together praying and believing as in Isaiah 61 that God's word is truth and it will be as he has said… let's give Him praise!
Sending love and blessings to you all!!

Good News for the Oppressed

61 The Spirit of the Sovereign Lord is upon me,
for the Lord has anointed me
to bring good news to the poor.
He has sent me to comfort the brokenhearted
and to proclaim that captives will be released
    and prisoners will be freed.[a]
He has sent me to tell those who mourn
that the time of the Lord’s favor has come,[b]
and with it, the day of God’s anger against their enemies.
To all who mourn in Israel,[c]
he will give a crown of beauty for ashes,
a joyous blessing instead of mourning,
    festive praise instead of despair.
In their righteousness, they will be like great oaks
that the Lord has planted for his own glory.

They will rebuild the ancient ruins,
    repairing cities destroyed long ago.
They will revive them,
though they have been deserted for many generations.
Foreigners will be your servants.
    They will feed your flocks
and plow your fields
    and tend your vineyards.
You will be called priests of the Lord,
    ministers of our God.
You will feed on the treasures of the nations
    and boast in their riches.
Instead of shame and dishonor,
you will enjoy a double share of honor.
You will possess a double portion of prosperity in your land,
and everlasting joy will be yours.

“For I, the Lord, love justice.
    I hate robbery and wrongdoing.
I will faithfully reward my people for their suffering
and make an everlasting covenant with them.
Their descendants will be recognized
    and honored among the nations.
Everyone will realize that they are a people
    the Lord has blessed.”

10 I am overwhelmed with joy in the Lord my God!
For he has dressed me with the clothing of salvation
and draped me in a robe of righteousness.
I am like a bridegroom dressed for his wedding
or a bride with her jewels.
11 The Sovereign Lord will show his justice to the nations of the world.
    Everyone will praise him!
His righteousness will be like a garden in early spring,
    with plants springing up everywhere
