You can't hide by Nina Keegan

Isaiah 29:15-16
And what sorrow awaits those who try to hide their plans from the Lord, who do their evil deeds in the dark! "The Lord can't see us they say." "He doesn't know what's going on!" How foolish can you be? He is the potter, and He is certainly greater than you, the Clay!
Should the created things say of the one who made it, "he didn't make me"? Does a jar ever say, "the potter who made me is stupid"?

It's amazing to me that the people of Jerusalem often were thinking that God couldn't see them and didn't know what was happening… They thought they could hide their secret plans from God. How audacious and strange is it that so many people actually think they can hide from God?

Psalm 139 explains and teaches us that God has examined our hearts and He knows absolutely everything about us. God made you, God put his own imprint on you, you were knit together in your mother's  womb!… You were made and pre-destined with a divine purpose and plan in Christ!

Think about what you're thinking about... Would you be embarrassed if your family members or your friends knew all of your personal thoughts? Remember that God knows every single one of them...

So let's be deliberate in our thoughts, let's cast down all thoughts and imaginations that go against the word of God… Let's have our hearts pure before Him… Let's remember that from the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks… Every evil action begins with a thought… Let's ask the Holy Spirit to help us realign our thoughts with the word of God… Let's get rid of all "stinking thinking!"
Let's resist the enemy at the onset
and refuse to pick up the negativity, complaining, foreboding thoughts and the temptations he puts in front of us.
The Bible says that God will always give us a way out… When we pray, God sends all of heaven to help us… It is God's will for us to always draw closer and closer to Him, and when we do this, we will understand Him and His divine will for us and His merciful, loving thoughts for us, and ultimately we will begin to think on these things…

We must catch ourselves in the act of negative thinking… The devil would love to put a constant barrage of negative thoughts in our heads.. The temptation for evil, gossip, lying… He would like us to wander away from our victories on a pathway of distraction and ultimately destruction!
Let's always remember that God knows every thought we have.. that He knows the secret plans of the enemy to thwart His plans for us.

When we seek God with our whole hearts, minds and souls, when we praise Him with Thanksgiving and when we repent of all evil… We can be ready with our armor on to overcome the evil deeds of the enemy.

One way of overcoming our negative thoughts is by taking note of your thoughts for a whole day. Every time a negative thought repeats itself and begins to take hold in your mind,  redirect it with the word of God..the truth found in God's Word. Write down these Bible verses and put them plainly where you can see them, read them, and declare them so you can remind yourself of the truth of God's word and His love for you! Remember as the mind thinks the man follows.. So let's let our minds follow the good and perfect will of God!

When we trust God, He causes even the wayward to gain great understanding and the complainers to accept His instruction
Isaiah 29:24

The humble will be filled with fresh joy from the Lord and the blind will see through the gloom and darkness, the scoffer will be gone, and the arrogant will disappear and all those who plot evil will be killed. Those who convict the innocent by their false testimony will disappear. A similar fate awaits those who use trickery to pervert justice and who tell lies to destroy the innocent.
Isaiah 29:18-21

Behold our redeemer  lives!
Let's worship and praise Him and let's seek Him and His ways and His great understanding in all things and He will make our crooked places straight and our paths secure!

Isaiah 29:6
I, the Lord of heaven's armies, will act for you with thunder and earthquake and great noise, with world wind and storm and consuming fire.

Philippians 4:8-9

Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is commendable, if there is any excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think about these things. What you have learned and received and heard and seen in me—practice these things, and the God of peace will be with you.

1 Peter 5:8

Be sober-minded; be watchful. Your adversary the devil prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour.

Luke 6:37

“Judge not, and you will not be judged; condemn not, and you will not be condemned; forgive, and you will be forgiven;

Proverbs 3:5-6

Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths.

2 Corinthians 10:4-5

For the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh but have divine power to destroy strongholds. We destroy arguments and every lofty opinion raised against the knowledge of God, and take every thought captive to obey Christ,
