What Does Jesus Think? By Nina Keegan

WHAT DOES JESUS THINK..? Are you following religious rules and laws, or are you following Christ ? Do you have a religious spirit ? If at all possible, we must get rid of our religion! LEGALISTIC RULES, So called ‘holy indignation’ we get so puffed  up and think we know it all ... we have no right to act in any manner that is in total contrast to the obedience of God’s word!
It’s age old in its destruction.. It has been religion, at all times that has led to war and destroyed that which was good. All of the wars in all of history were started over in one way or another over
religion…

Jesus was the church without walls. When satan  entered into Judas the only people who the devil could speak to through Judas where the priests of that time, sad as it was ..but they all conspired to get him to betray Jesus and it was the devil that took money from these priests to put Jesus to death. We must check ourselves we must clearly understand whether we are of the right spirit or not, for even the devil knows the word .. we must not be deceived ... we must stand guarding our hearts and stand for  God’s truth… God’s word is alive and it is true and it is every bit as relevant today as it was when it was penned !

For no man could be of the spirit of Christ and persecute another believer, no man can have a true spirit of Jesus and have enmity in his heart towards others. You simply cannot have Jesus and have bitterness and hatred in your hearts and persecute other believers. We are to walk in love and be as Jesus is in the world!

If we’re not careful.. it is possible for us to fall victim to the evil spirit of unbelief, and even in our best state; it is possible for us to have a hardness of heart. We must be perfectly dead to our flesh and let the life of the Lord lead us and guide us with a spirit of truth.  The Bible says in the end times many Christians will fall away… Be on guard !! It is pride that causes all of the destruction… The Temptation of evil.. pride always comes before a fall..

In the Bible, Jesus wanted to pass through a certain place as he was on his way to Jerusalem. Because he would not stop and preach to those dwelling there concerning the kingdom, so they refused to allow him to go through their section of the country. The disciples who were with Jesus said to him, “shall we call down fire from heaven upon them as Elijah did?”
(Luke 9:54)

But Jesus turned and said, “you know not what manner of spirit you are of “(verse 55)

Even the disciples who were following Jesus and with him all the time had to be warned about this..  even though they were constantly in his presence, seeing his love and seeing his example of goodness and kindness, fell victim  to bitterness and hardness of heart. Jesus rebuked that spirit! I pray that we would all get this message and ask God to rid us of any bitter root and any religious, legalistic, and  malicious spirit!

I see such a divide in this country.. There is such hatred… I see people twisting the truth to fit their own agendas...

We must come together and pray and seek God‘s will and ask for God‘s protection and guidance over this nation… we must repent of outrageous evil and hatred .We are AND WILL REMAIN one nation under GOD…

Our nation must be an example to other nations… We must go back to our first place of disobedience and check our hearts… perhaps we have gotten off of GOD’s  plan and off track when we decided to exclude God from the fundamental precepts of this country and this country‘s foundational truths and liberties.

Jesus is the very definition of pure love and for us to be like Jesus in this world, means death to our flesh on all fronts; body mind, soul, and spirit.  I believe if we are to be in the will of God, then we can ask the Holy Spirit to perfectly direct us at all times… The Bible says a man can make his plans but God will order his steps… We must surrender each and every day to his will and pray through all levels of persecution…
There  is an age old question that asks  “What would Jesus do?”

I for one think that this is a good question to ask ourselves every day especially when we’re tempted to get into strife, anger and malice towards those who don’t agree with us… The only one that can change other’s hearts is Jesus… We must pray for our enemies and trust God.

If we are in the will of God then we will have to follow what Jesus has said because whatever Jesus said always came to pass…
We must remember if God speaks, it will be as he says!
We need to know the word of God which leads us to know the mind and heart of God… With that knowledge we can be so free… It is pure faith so strong and so strengthening…It is knowing God’s character and his faithfulness to love us right where we are… He has the ability to help us forgive and to love others… We must pray for that heart… The heart to love others… It’s very easy to love the ones that are agreeable and kind..… But we are called to love our enemies! We can have joy no matter what we are going through, the more we know and the more revelation we have of the will of God and his Love for us, all the more fearless we will become. To fully know God is to be in the perfect place of trust… To know God is to be in a complete place of rest.
To know God is to be in a constant place of victory!

When the perplexities of life arise in our minds, overcome them with the obedience of God’s word and declaring that word over the situation! God has the final say… The reply of the tongue shall come from the Lord and through his word we will have a new and victorious effect in taking new ground for Jesus!

God has already defined his spirit and ultimate love for us, his victory for us came through his beloved son… Through his death and resurrection on the cross… Our pathway has been carved out… It is been washed in the blood of Jesus… Let’s remember who we are in Christ… Let’s not be tempted to throw stones and accuse… But let’s trust the word of God and pray through the chaos on all levels!!
We have full authority… And there is nothing we cannot do in Christ!!!!
God bless you… You are God‘s beloved… You are stronger than you think… You have more power than you realize… You were born for a purpose in Christ… Let’s live that purpose and be an example of Jesus in this world… Praise God we give him all the glory!!!!

1 John 4:17
And as we live in God, our love grows more perfect. So we will not be afraid on the day of judgment, but we can face him with confidence because we live like Jesus here in this world.

2 Timothy 2:23-25

Have nothing to do with foolish, ignorant controversies; you know that they breed quarrels. And the Lord's servant must not be quarrelsome but kind to everyone, able to teach, patiently enduring evil, correcting his opponents with gentleness. God may perhaps grant them repentance leading to a knowledge of the truth,

Proverbs 10:12

Hatred stirs up strife, but love covers all offenses.

Proverbs 16:28

A dishonest man spreads strife, and a whisperer separates close friends.

Proverbs 20:3

It is an honor for a man to keep aloof from strife, but every fool will be quarreling.

James 3:14-16

But if you have bitter jealousy and selfish ambition in your hearts, do not boast and be false to the truth. This is not the wisdom that comes down from above, but is earthly, unspiritual, demonic. For where jealousy and selfish ambition exist, there will be disorder and every vile practice.

Proverbs 29:22

A man of wrath stirs up strife, and one given to anger causes much transgression.

Proverbs 26:20

For lack of wood the fire goes out, and where there is no whisperer, quarreling ceases.

4. Colossians 2:8 See to it that no one takes you captive through hollow and deceptive philosophy, which depends on human tradition and the elemental spiritual forces of this world rather than on Christ.

How does Jesus feel about legalism?
5. Luke 11:37-54 After Jesus had finished speaking, a Pharisee asked Jesus to eat with him. So Jesus went in and sat at the table. But the Pharisee was surprised when he saw that Jesus did not wash his hands before the meal. The Lord said to him, “You Pharisees clean the outside of the cup and the dish, but inside you are full of greed and evil. You foolish people!
