God Will Never Leave You ..by Nina Keegan Owens

1 Peter 5:7
Give ALL your worries to Him, because He cares for you.

God is with you, All Ways.... Always !!!!

How many of you remember those old commercials about Maytag repair man?

For you young ones out there, the commercials were for the Maytag appliance company. The concept showed a sweet, elderly, gentleman in a Maytag repairman uniform. He was always eagerly waiting in a lonely office for the phone to ring so he could go "repair" something, but the appliances were apparently so well made that his services were never needed. He sat alone day in and day out, his precious time being wasted. You could not help but love the sweet Maytag repairman, but you also felt very sad for him. He was a man without a purpose.

I sometimes picture God that way, I can't help but feel sorry for Him at times. I think we often times neglect Him and try to go it alone. We forget that He is always right here waiting to help us, all we have to do is ask. Yet why does it seem that we only turn to Him in a crisis or when we are in panic mode? He wants to be part of our everyday lives. The Bible says He will never leave us nor forsake us, this means He is always with us, ALWAYS!
But how many of us actually live our lives in such a way as to reflect the constant presence of God?

(Deuteronomy 31:6)
Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the Lord your God goes with you wherever you go; He will NEVER leave you nor forsake you.”

Can you even comprehend what this scripture means? Do you actually realize that the Lord of the entire universe is constantly with you?
When you really stop to meditate on and grasp this amazing concept, its truth is mind boggling!

God is everything to everyone. He is all we will ever need. He is right here beside each and every one of us every minute and every precious second of every day!

When you begin to actually understand this principle, the doors of your mind begin to open one by one thinking of all the great, mighty and amazingly wonderful things God is and all that He can and will do for us simply because He loves us. All we have to do is ask. The Bible says to keep on asking, to go boldly to the throne and seek God in ALL things. The scriptures tell us to fervently pray about everything, big and small! He is sitting right there, waiting to be needed, waiting for you to call His name and invite Him into your everyday life.

Some people have this misconception that God should not be bothered with all the little mundane things and that He has much bigger issues and "real"problems to solve. This could not be further from the truth. God does not have to leave the prayers and the severity of a situation of one person to come help you, remember, He is ALWAYS with you. He is omniscient. He is all things, to all people, all the time. The scriptures tell us that God is even concerned about the birds of the air, He takes care of them and feeds them. How much more then does He care for us, His children?

God is not a pushy God, He will never try to pry His way into our lives. We must through faith and salvation have a realization of our constant need of Him and seek Him diligently. We must die to our old, selfish, I can do it myself, ways and trust our lives in their entirety to our loving God! When we do this and resign to the fact that we can do nothing without Him, we will see the most amazing changes in our lives. We will be able to do and accomplish things we never dreamed of. Doors will be opened, dreams will be realized, peace will surround us and we will walk in the favor and blessings of God that surpass all understanding. What are you waiting for? Do not miss one more day covered in the presence of God and all the supernatural wonders that accompany His love.
It must begin with us, we must first seek Him and all the rest shall be done...

Romans 11:36
For of Him, and through Him, and to Him, are ALL things: to whom be glory for ever. Amen.

God is ever present .. He is everything! He is our comforter when we are sad, a mighty counselor when we need discernment and a healthy dose of wisdom. He is the God of peace when we are stressed, anxious and fearful. He is the healer of our mind, body and soul. He is our great physician. He is a shoulder to cry on and He shares in all of our greatest joys. He causes us to be triumphant by being our edifier, and our great encourager. He is our strength when we are weak. He's our shelter, our shield, our fortress and our strong tower protecting us from all harm. He is our rescuer, our deliverer, our mighty Lord and our personal savior. He is our life coach, our marriage counselor, and a teacher for our children.
He is our guide and the finest architect of the best laid plans for our lives. He finds us when we are lost. He forgives us when we sin against Him. God is always right there ready to dole out the unending blessings, and the amazing grace we need to get through the trials of every day. He cares about each and every little thing. If it matters to you, it matters to God! If that is all not brilliant enough, He also commands His Legions of heavenly angels to take charge over us.They constantly camp out around us, guarding us in all of our ways,( Psalm 91). We are never alone! Never!

Proverbs 3:6
In ALL your ways acknowledge Him,
And He shall direct your paths.

All means all, not some, not a select few not just what you deem important enough to let God be in charge of, but in ALL our ways, in everything we think, do and say, we must acknowledge Him! We mustn't leave God sitting all alone waiting for our phone call. Let Him lead you. He knows the best way, His way is the only way. He knows what we need when and how we need it. He is the universe's greatest repairman, the difference is, unlike Maytag appliances we are in constant need of repair, we will never not need God. We need to train ourselves to fully rely on God for ALL things. We need to praise him with grateful hearts for all He tirelessly and lovingly does for us all. We are nothing without Him! He can make anyone great and strong. We can do ALL things through Christ who strengthens us!

Chronicles 29:11-12
You are great and powerful, glorious, splendid, and majestic. Everything in heaven and earth is yours, and you are king, supreme ruler over all.
All riches and wealth come from you; you rule everything by your strength and power; and you are able to make anyone great and strong.

Thank You Father that you are always with me, holding my hand through life and carrying me when I'm to tired to do it alone. I only need to say your name and you, the God of the universe is all I will ever need! I praise you my sweet Father and thank you for absolutely everything!
In Jesus name ...Amen!!

Isaiah 43:2-3

When you pass through the waters,
I will be with you;
and when you pass through the rivers,
they will not sweep over you.
When you walk through the fire,
you will not be burned;
the flames will not set you ablaze.
For I am the Lord your God,
the Holy One of Israel, your Savior.

Setting Goals ..By Nina Keegan

Philippians 3:13-14

Forgetting the things that are behind and reaching out for the things that are ahead, with this goal in mind, I strive toward the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.

A goal is an end toward which effort is directed. Why do we need them? Why are they so important to living our best life?

The scripture above clearly states that we need to forget the past and reach out, grab hold of the great things ahead. We should focus on what is to come, strive, and work towards the prize which is the call of God on our lives. In other words we should all be working toward the wonderful, gift, talent, goal or highly unique and personalized prize that God has bestowed upon each of us. Our futures are an upward calling from God. This simply means we are meant to rise higher, we are to live above our circumstances and not below, we are to live out our divine purpose and fulfill our God given destiny

Not having a goal is a recipe for status quo and mediocracy. I read that about only 3 % of people actually write down their goals, and studies have proven that some of the worlds most successful, highly effective, motivated, prosperous and happy, people
are the ones who do write down specific goals for themselves and then set about striving to achieve them.

Writing down our goals is like a starting line so to speak, it is a small action that one takes to get the ball rolling. Something happens when we actually see our words of declaration scribbled across a page. What we read sends a clear message to our brain and our brain will start an ingenious process of leading us in a direction toward that goal.

God made our brains so intricately amazing that we are capable of having well over 20 million thoughts per second, yes that is per second. Most of which are in our subconscious. They organize ,filter, process and arrange millions of ideas into a database if you will, giving us plans, solutions, knowledge and the wisdom we need to obtain our goals.

The Word says in Jeremiah 29:11 that God has a plan for our lives, a plan for good and to give us a hope and a prosperous future. He has planted talents and dreams in us all. Nowhere does the Bible say that there is any kind of expiration date on our great plan.. It is never to late, and now is not to soon. There is no time like the present. Let's get going!!!!

So go grab a piece of paper and a pen, go ahead I'll wait.........,

Ok then... You know what's next!!! Write down your most amazing, from the heart, would love to do more than anything, goal!! ,Do NOT write down only what you think you can do or what you may be able to accomplish now , but write confidently in BIG, bold, letters what YOU REALLY WANT to do. I guarantee you that both lists would be very different! Don't ever sell your self short!! After all, where do our dreams and desires and talents come from? From The Lord!! He puts those notions in your heart. He gives us all unique gifts and talents, each of us is equipped to go after and achieve anything! Yes anything! The first battle must be won in our own minds believing that we CAN do all things through Christ who strengthens us..
(Phil 4:13)

Why would God ever give us a dream that we were incapable of obtaining? Why would He give us talents to be wasted and not used? He wants to give us the desires of our heart. He longs to bless us and see us prosper and be blessed. He will guide us, help us, and line up divine opportunities .He will give us supernatural abilities and cause things to follow in our favor. He can make you stand out, He can give you the grace you need to handle every obstacle and He can open every door! We should think HUGE and declare abundant and amazingly explosive goals for ourselves... Why not you? Why not me?

We first must trust God, He will never leave you... Never!! so this is an awesome bonus since God will be right there to help us always. Then we must do our part, STAY POSITIVE, work hard, practice. study, focus, believe and never give up. Even when it seems impossible , even when we want to throw in the towel we must still aim for the prize and run the race. The finish line is always closer than you think! Your race is much different from everyone else's. Each successful persons's race, road to glory, and journey will never be like anyone else's. There's so much to learn and enjoy along the way. Stay goal minded, remember as the mind thinks, the man follows!

1 Corinthians 9:24
Do you not know that all the runners in a stadium compete, but only one receives the prize? So run to win your race.

We hear story after story and amazing accounts of how many famous people throughout history whose amazing achievements have dramatically changed, benefited, and inspired our lives today had first failed hundreds of times. The commonality of these individuals is that they saw a goal, they visualized a dream. and kept on striving regardless of the odds. They refused to listen to the nay sayers. Defeat was never an option, they never gave up.

Case and point, Thomas Edison took years and many failed attempts to invent the incandescent lightbulb that changed the way we live forever. In Walt Disney's biography it states that his high school art teacher told him he lacked creativity. Michael Jordan, one of the most famous NBA players of all time never even made his high school basketball team. The list is endless!

Luke 1:37
For nothing is impossible with God.

Nothing means nothing!!! Write down your Goals, spend time daily visualizing yourself already having accomplished them. See every last detail of it all. What is it you will be doing? Where will you be? What way specifically would you like to see it play out? Spend time each day nurturing that vision by speaking out loud, declaring your goal in present tense. Fill in the blank as the future will dictate, "I am...." I can..." This is personal, nobody but you and God need to hear you! Then try to do something everyday to move yourself toward that goal. Live on purpose! Work hard, learn all you can, stay positive, and focused on the prize, the end result, find a mentor, someone or something that inspires you. Never give up! Hard work always pays off! Be tenacious, you are more than a conqueror! Speak only those things about your situation that will benefit you in some way! Refuse to let negativity take root.
Romans 4:17 says we can call things into existence that do not yet exist. We can believe and receive...

If you have a goal and a dream, do not let anyone including yourself tell you all the reasons why you can't make it happen. Tell yourself all the reasons why it will! Then .... Go do it!!!

Genius is 1% talent and 99% hard work!
Albert Einstein

The trouble with not having a goal is that you can spend your life running up and down the field and never score.
Bill Copeland

Heavenly Father,

You gave us our dreams, talents and desires, help us to stay focused and trust you to help us see them reached! We know we are nothing without you.. Help us to stay positive and to give you all the glory as you guide us every step of the way!!! We will see our dreams come to pass!!! In Jesus name!!

Amen
