Give It All To God... By Nina Keegan-Owens

James1:2-5
My brothers and sisters, think of the various tests you encounter as occasions for joy. After all, you know that the testing of your faith produces endurance. Let this endurance complete its work so that you may be fully mature, complete, and lacking in nothing. But anyone who needs wisdom should ask God, whose very nature is to give to everyone without a second thought, without keeping score. Wisdom will certainly be given to those who ask.

Sometimes we go through some pretty tough times in our lives. It often seems like things can all change in a blink of an eye and you wonder how you got to this place. You look back on your circumstances as a trail of mishaps and insecurities, doubts, and mistakes. Sometimes we drag so much around with us that it's hard to see the past from the present. We anchor ourselves in an odd misery loves company way that halts us from moving forward and living a blessed life. Things become very skewed and we are at an absolute loss as to how to "fix it". We want so much to get it all right, to do the right thing and to put everything in a neatly organized box with a clearly marked label.

We want answers to things we may never know. We want the complete instruction guide and easy step by step  manifesto to get us back on track. We agonize over what to do next. We become so entrenched in our problems that we fail to see what God has put before us every day. The enemy loves distracting us and making us fear things. When we are focused on our problems, we lose focus of God. We get so down, things spin so rapidly out of control and we become unrecognizable. Sometimes it's just to painful to look in the mirror and face ourselves. It is almost like our reflection will show us things to tough to handle right now. Sometimes we just don't want to face what God is trying to show us.

We think we are so smart and that we can go it alone. We agonize over our fears and let them take root. We must remember that fear is just false evidence appearing real. We pull the old baggage out and let it echo to us one more time. We almost feel deserving of the old reminders of failures and guilt. They are part of us and perhaps it is scarey to really become all that we are meant to be. Can we really ever be free? The old record playing in the  backgroud of our mind is a part of us. could we possibly be made whole? Could we change those things that appear to have carved out trenches in our souls and are at the very essence of who we are? Is it too late? Never.. God is in control...

  Romans 12:2
    Don’t be conformed to the patterns of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind so that you can figure out what God’s will is—what is good and pleasing and mature.
Renewing of our minds.... Doesn't that sound amazingly brilliant ?

I know that we need to remind ourselves to give it all to God. He can make a way for us even when we are staring blankly in the wake of adversity! God is ABLE to take your mess and turn it in to the most inspiring message. God can use the hardest and most taxingly stressful test and turn it into your testimony.

We often fail in our own attempts because we are operating in the flesh. We are settling for a life that is deeply rooted in pain instead of letting God take over. It is so hard for us ... but what ever it is you are going through it is NOT to hard for God.  We must remind ourselves daily that He loves us so much.  When we hurt, He hurts. He sent His only child, His one and only son to be brutally beat, whipped and nailed to a cross for us. He did that because He first loved us, not because of anything we did, quite simply ...He LOVES us. He loves us with an everlasting love. He took all of our messes and sadness, our illnesses, our hurting relationships, our finances, our grief, our pain, our sins, our greed, our fears and nailed them to the cross with His Son Jesus Christ and let everything, every last thing be covered in the Blood of His dying Son Jesus Christ.

Lamentations 3:21-22

21     Yet hope returns when I remember this one thing:

22 The Lord's unfailing love and mercy still continue,

Through the blood of Jesus shed on the cross, we have hope! We have a future!
We have restoration and healing, we can see our promises fulfilled, our relationships restored, our finances increased, our tears, worries, fears anxieties and pain can be washed away. Our old insecurities can be disolved and replaced with pure joy!  We must let go and let God, we must not let things get to far without giving Him a chance. Praise Him in the valleys for what He can and will do in your life. God's timing is perfect so give time time. Do not be so quick to give up, that is like saying you do not trust what God can do.  Speak life over every situation in your life. Remember that all things work together for the good for those who love God.

Isaiah 40:31

31     but those who hope in The Lord
    will renew their strength;
    they will fly up on wings like eagles;
    they will run and not be tired;
    they will walk and not be weary.

Just when you feel like you cannot go on, like you have cried your last tear, like there is absolutely no way out; that's when God shows up in all His glory with legions of heavenly angels to fight for you. His miracles spring forth so we know it was through Him and His grace that our prayers are answered. Give it all to Him, get out of your own way, cry out to The Lord because He can do what man can't do!  His promises never fail and He, yes He still answers our prayers! When you don't even have a prayer left to pray.. Pray the way Jesus taught us to pray... The Lord's Prayer..

Our Father, who art in heaven,
hallowed be thy name.
Thy Kingdom come,
thy will be done,
on earth as it is in heaven
Give us this day our daily bread.
And forgive us our trespasses,
as we forgive those who trespass against us.
And lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil.
For thine is the kingdom, the power and the glory. for ever and ever Amen

Heavenly Father I cry out to you now, I know you hear my prayers and you love me..I need you to show up , I need a miracle.. you know where I am right now I ask you to forgive me as I give it all to you today. I trust your word to perfect all that concerns me today. I praise you sweet Lord!
In Jesus name
