Be made New... by Nina Keegan

God is always guiding us, every notion, every thought you ever have comes from one of two places... do not let your heart be hardened by not listening to that still small voice, that feeling that starts to bother you when you are off track!
Always let that voice… "Gods voice" trump the voice that says "it's OK to do your own thing", the one that tells you that you're sin isn't that bad...! After all, everyone else is doing it... or "their sin is way worse than mine... " do not live in what I'd like to call justifiable ignorance..

Do not measure your sin by your own standards of deeming the severity of someone else's sin...

Like a loving parent, God is never not with us... he's incessantly trying to teach us and to lead us. We should be ever mindful to obey and listen to him because that's where our peace and victory come from. When we obey the Word of God and refuse to pay attention to what the world is offering… We can walk in the blessings of divine obedience.

Our unwillingness to pay attention to God's commands, invites self inflicted sorrow and threatens that peace that we get to have through God and God alone..! It's like we've stepped out of the covering and divine protection of God  through our own free will and willful defiance.

The Scripture says in Isaiah 48:17
" I am the Lord your God who teaches you what is good for you and leads you along the path that you should follow! Oh that you had listened to my commands, then you would've had peace flowing like a gentle river and righteousness rolling over you like the waves of the sea."

After 40 years in captivity, the Israelites were finally shouting with joy as they crossed the Red Sea, free from slavery at last!
40 whole years of wilderness before they finally got it right...
Why were they so blatantly defiant..?
They were actually worshiping idols and melting their own jewelry to build golden calves to worship simultaneously while God is feeding them manna from heaven .... food is literally falling from heaven... miraculously appearing daily from the sky to feed them and yet....they still were determined to worship something else, they still continued to murmur, grumble and complain, ... this seems so erratically audacious to me !!!

What are you doing that has you repeatedly treking around the wilderness while staring at the locked gates to the promised land..?

What is holding you captive, what is your besetting sin? Be free! The Lord has already redeemed his children from slavery to sin through the death of his son Jesus... When you let God free you from your captivity, you will also be shouting with joy and entering into the promised land of being a new creation in Christ.

There is nothing like the peace and the freedom of walking in victory from strongholds. You too can be free from any addiction, any besetting sin, you can be free from fear, anxiety, depression, illness, you can be an over-comer through the blood of the lamb and the word of your testimony. Declare it!

Many people continuously cry out for the need of comfort, security and relief from the turmoil and discomfort they are going through but they haven't taken the first step to repent and turn away from their sin.

The choice to remain in sin closes off the ability we have to receive from God....
God is not pushy, we have free will and he is waiting on us to call on his name and make the determined decision to turn our lives over to him.
We must repent and turn to God and trust him to take over.

If you want true peace, seek God first.. He is  the one who can help you change your situation. He is the one who can bring you freedom from the enemies stronghold!

The scripture says in Isaiah 48:20 ( paraphrase)
Yet even now be free from your captivity! The Lord has redeemed his servants.. they were not thirsty when he led them to the desert, he divided the rock and water gushed out for them to drink, "but there is no peace for the wicked!" says the Lord...

Isaiah 49:8
This is what the Lord says:"  I will respond to you on the day of salvation I will help you. I will protect you .."

God will bring you into the light..
He will bring you into freedom, for you will no longer hunger and thirst or be searching for all the things to fill the void that only God can fill through his love, peace and mercy!
God loves you with an everlasting love, he has your name written on the palms of his hands!

All glory to God!
He will never leave you or forsake you ...let God do the impossible in your life because that's where God starts!

Call on the name of JESUS NOW...and be saved! Let God rescue you and pluck you out of harms way and set you down on solid ground which is the rock… Jesus our rock and our redeemer!

Isaiah 43:19
See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland.
