LIFE IS A COLABORATION WITH GOD... by Nina Keegan

Life has always been meant to be a collaboration with God.

We were never meant to go it alone… It seems to me that often times in the Bible God would lead people to go somewhere or do something without them knowing the big picture.. He would just say go… many times God doesn't want us to know the whole story, it might be too much for us to handle all at once… We would see the impossibilities of what God is asking us to do
And we would not see how completely possible it is because it is of God… If he said it...then he will do it, if it's his plan, then he will make a way….. many times just one word is all we need.. it's all we can handle.. we don't have to know everything… God is calling us to simply trust him!

We don't have to be perfect God just wants and loves obedience… When I was reading in Romans about Abraham… God's promise was to give the whole earth to him and his descendants, this promise was not based on obedience to God's law but on a right relationship with God himself..and that comes by faith. If God's promise is only for those who obey the law, then faith is not necessary and promises are pointless. In Romans 4 :16 -17
it says,
So the promise is received by faith. It is given as a free gift. And we are all certain to receive it, whether or not we live according to the law of Moses, if we have faith like Abrahams. For Abraham is the father of all who believe. That is what the Scriptures mean when God told him, "I have made you father of many nations."This happened because Abraham believed in the God who brings the dead back to life and who creates new things out of nothing.

Even when there was no reason for hope, Abraham kept hoping, believing that he would become the father of many nations. For God said to him .."that's how many descendent you will have.."and Abrahams faith did not weaken even though at about 100 years of age, he figured his body was as good as dead and so was Sara's womb.
But Abraham never wavered and believed in God's promise in fact,

His faith grew stronger!

Just think about how strong your faith must be when you are surrounded by complete and utter impossibilities on every level concerning the promise over your life... how was it that he was able to see past all of that and stay focused on the promise of God?
Friends it's time for us to take the leap into a new deeper level of faith in God… We can learn to navigate gray in a black-and-white world!
We don't have to hold the entire blueprint in our hand… Step out hand-in-hand with our Lord... He will never leave you or for sake you!!
One small step at a time… Have faith, trust Him!

Abraham never doubted that God would fulfill his promise. Abraham's life was marked by mistakes, sins, and failures as well as by wisdom and goodness, but he consistently trusted God. His faith was strengthened by the obstacles he faced ..and his life was an example of faith in action.
If he had only looked at what his own resources were... he would've been faced with only absolute impossibility's and complete despair. But Abraham looked to God, obeyed him, and waited for God to fulfill his word, his brilliant promise.

Faith is in what we cannot see… If we knew the whole picture start to finish of what God wants us to do, we would deem it impossible before we ever took a step… we would give up before we ever even started ....That's why we are only allowed to see in part and we are only given small instructions to follow at a time… Yes life is a collaboration with God
We mustn't ever rely on our own understanding..but just keep taking small steps in the right direction, 1 foot in front of the other in obedience… That's all it takes… Just get up and get moving… Through that simple act of obedience God will lead you and guide you… It's like God will drop the breadcrumbs on the trail all we have to do is follow them…
We don't have to know everything before we start our journeys..we just need to know that if God said it...then it will be glorious and he will do exceedingly abundantly more than we could ever ask or think.

Faith will always bring joy, the Bible says in Romans 5, therefore, since we have been made right in God's site by faith, we have peace with God because of what Jesus Christ our Lord has done for us. Because of our faith, Christ has brought us into this place of undeserved privilege where we now stand, and we confidently and joyfully look forward to sharing God's glory. We can rejoice when we run into problems and trials, for we know that they help us develop endurance. And endurance develops strength of character and character strengthens our confident hope of salvation.

This hope will not lead to disappointment.

For we know how dearly God loves us, because he has given us the Holy Spirit to fill our hearts with his love.

We can now be at peace with God ...peace with God means that we have been reconciled with him, there's no more sin blocking a relationship with him, peace with God is possible only because Jesus already paid the price through death on the cross...
Let the Holy Spirit be your guide, let the collaboration
form as we become completely dependent on our wonderful Lord for everything we need, he will give us all things we need pertaining to life and godliness, his plan is so much better than any plan we could ever think up.

We were once weak and helpless because we could do nothing on our own to save ourselves...
Christ came at exactly the right time in history according to God's own schedule. God controls all history and he controls the timing, the messages and the events surrounding Jesus' life ....while we were all yet sinners, God sent his son to die for us not because we were good enough, but just because he loved us!

Whenever you feel uncertain about God's love for you,and his plan for your life, remember that he already loved you and had a plan for your life before you ever even knew him...
Let his love for you through the Holy Spirit guide you every day.. that same power that raised Christ from the dead has saved you and is available to you in your daily life… As God's children , we reserve the power and the love to call on our Lord and Savior each day to help meet every challenge or trial or need!

Remember life is a collaboration we have all we need.. grab a hold of God's hand and fly!

Beloved, do not be surprised at the fiery trial when it comes upon you to test you, as though something strange were happening to you. | 1 Peter 4:12

Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, as God in Christ forgave you. | Ephesians 4:32

Bless those who persecute you; bless and do not curse them. | Romans 12:14

But God shows his love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. | Romans 5:8

But in your hearts honor Christ the Lord as holy, always being prepared to make a defense to anyone who asks you for a reason for the hope that is in you; yet do it with gentleness and respect. | 1 Peter 3:15

But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly of my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may rest upon me. | 2 Corinthians 12:9

Consequently, he is able to save to the uttermost those who draw near to God through him, since he always lives to make intercession for them. | Hebrews 7:25
