  IT’S TIME TO LEAD!
God is calling all leaders ..,
Are you just accepting certain situations because you don’t feel like you have a choice in the matter?

 Are most people actually just living their lives, existing, but not leading their lives because they don’t believe they have an option?

Nehemiah 2:17-18 New International Version (NIV)

17 Then I said to them, “You see the trouble we are in: Jerusalem lies in ruins, and its gates have been burned with fire. Come, let us rebuild the wall of Jerusalem, and we will no longer be in disgrace. 18 I also told them about the gracious hand of my God on me and what the king had said to me.
They replied, “Let us start rebuilding.” So they began this good work.

Nehemiah certainly had a decision to make when he was faced with the choice of accepting the situation at hand or changing it.. he made the decision to LEAD!!It is a choice… Leadership is always a decision to bring about change and to make a difference. Leadership is about making disciplined choices, choices that many times have a strong natural enemy of passivity. The enemy loves to freeze us in our decisions… Indecisiveness can paralyze us.. we become so afraid of making the wrong choice and the wrong decision that we do nothing…
GOD IS CALLING US TO GO... TO LEAD!!
Many people don’t want to “get involved”… Many people don’t want to put in the hard work they just want things to be status quo… But everything worth achieving is always uphill!

Walking downhill is the easy part it always takes less effort… We never want to be one of those people that just does enough to get by… If we want real change in our lives we have to put in the effort and it may be an uphill journey but hard work always pays off.

For Nehemiah, the wall and the work of God in Israel was worth a determined effort.. it was definitely going to be uphill.. but he was very determined to get up that hill and build that wall!!

No one else can build your wall… No one else can fulfill your destiny.. no one else was born with your purpose!

Let’s not be the one that sits in the boat all afraid… Let’s get out of that boat… Let’s let the Holy Spirit guide us into the yet unfinished and do those things that we know we are to do but they just seem to insurmountable to us…

 Remember if God put this purpose in your, life he will take you through it and by climbing that hill... We will become stronger and more resilient… We will have a sense of accomplishment and achievement and strength that will carry us through to victory.

I believe the Holy Spirit is calling all of us to lead… It’s time to make decisions that will make a difference… It’s time to do what we knew we were created to do!

GOD HAS NOT CHANGED HIS MIND ABOUT YOU... HIS DESTINY FOR YOU STILL SRAND!

We all could sit down right now and create a quite impressively long list of things that we need and want to change and we haven’t changed them because they’re all “uphill”. Through our time with God, let’s let him lead us and guide us and fuel us to go and make a difference and to be strengthened  for the changes we need to make in him!! God wants us to be the change… Not sit there and wish others would change things!!

Here is a quote that sums this all up by Theodore Roosevelt called “The man in the arena”

It is not the critic who counts; not the man who points out how the strong man stumbles, or where the doer of deeds could have done them better.
