Stand Firm by Nina Keegan

STAND FIRM!
We are here for such a time as this… It is no accident that we, God's people, are here to be intercessors and call forth the word of God concerning what's going on in the world today....In times like this we must be very, very, careful that we don't pray one thing and then speak dozens of other things that contradict our prayers and come against Gods promises!

“Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand” (Ephesians 6:13).

On one hand we want to be very diligent and do all that we know to do because that's what the Bible tells us… And then when we are believing and knowing that we've done all we know to do, then we will stand and let God be God…

Matthew 15:5
These people draw near to me with their mouth, and honor me with their lips, but their heart is far from me and in vain they worship me, teaching as doctrines the commandments of men...

We must keep our confessions on the Lord without hypocrisy…  the Power and promises of God's word never stop because of a certain set of circumstances…

The Bible says a double minded man is unstable in all of his ways… Does your heart and your head line up with the word of God?

Jesus quotes from Isaiah 29 verse 13, in charging the Pharisees with setting aside God's word by their traditions. Jesus dismisses their worship because their hearts were not aligned with their lips.

Living faith, true worship, requires that the mouth and the heart be together to avoid Jesus' charge of hypocrisy.

Praises and true faith emanate from lips that draw from the depths of the heart. The Bible tells us,do not let your heart be troubled! As a living principal, Faith's confession is not a ritual of reciting slogans, otherwise it is only acting out of a human tradition and not coming straight from the heart, and Jesus notes that that is potentially hypocritical. Just as we are called to genuine praise and worship, not to be pretenders or ritual performers, so let our confessing of God's promises be without hypocrisy.

Let us speak what God's Holy Spirit has truly birthed  in our hearts, therefore bringing us to faithfully speak with our lips the promises of God!

The walk and the talk have to lineup…, If we believe, then we will see the glory of God... let's get our lips and our head talk in line with our heart talk!

No weapon formed against us will ever prosper… We believe and declare that  by the power of the stripes of Jesus we are healed!

We believe that God does indeedrescue us in times of trouble!
And if he is for us m, who can dare be against us?

Let's worship, and pray, and stand on God's word and then let's not contradict it by letting our mouths declare fear!

Let's be single minded… Let's be stable… Let's let our faith shine, let's not be moved… We will not be shaken…!!!!
We are a nation that God calls blessed… We are blessed and cannot be cursed…!!!

So stay safe... Do all you know to do to protect yourself and your love ones.. but most importantly, stand and let God be God!!!!

Here are a few powerful verses in Scripture about standing firm:

Ephesians 6:11
"Put on the full armor of God, so that you will be able to stand firm against the schemes of the devil."

Ephesians 6:13
"Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand."

1 Peter 5:9
"But resist him, firm in your faith, knowing that the same experiences of suffering are being accomplished by your brethren who are in the world."

1 Corinthians 15:58
"Be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord."

Philippians 1:27
"Conduct yourselves in a manner worthy of the gospel of Christ, so that whether I come and see you or remain absent, I will hear of you that you are standing firm in one spirit, with one mind striving together for the faith of the gospel."

1 Corinthians 16:13
"Be on the alert, stand firm in the faith, act like men, be strong."

Philippians 4:1
"Therefore, my beloved brethren whom I long to see, my joy and crown, in this way stand firm in the Lord, my beloved."
